  1. Tanner looked pretty fecked off at the end, you could sense he though he should have got on the pitch 2nd half
  2. I’d say do - Was right in front of us, definitely late challenge & a red. But surprised Freeman got away with a yellow for his violent conduct but I think Sykes might have made as be more of it to deflect from his tackle. Apart from that Sykes was superb & really impressed by him so far.
  3. Is it fulltime yet?, I don’t have an old fashioned FM/AM radio so can’t listen
  4. Not One city fan wishes us to lose especially at the start of the season.
  5. I really wouldn’t blame Weiman either, especially as he took a pay cut too
  6. What makes you think that? I thought a battery on the Solar is the way to ensure you get you use what you generate, that is if you’re household and are out all day for work & school etc
  7. Dave the barber took a pic when RR wasn’t looking and just sent via WhatsApp
  8. I’m not Pearson out by any means but you make a good point, we should expect more insight from the man in charge. At times he comes across as though he doesn’t love the game but he’s good at his job so we should just leave home alone to get on with it & the interviews are an inconvenience. But results suggest he’s not nailing the day job so therefore he really should elaborate on the interviews.
  9. The reluctance to use the loan market is killing us. Or maybe stubbornness no to use it. Just look at Simms today, he made huge impact for them and Clark who started as a loan then perm was excellent too.
  10. Let’s get it going tomorrow, so simple anyone can join in.
  11. They definitely have some size labelling errors on batches of the Robins shirts - we got a Y2XL clearly not right size, took it into the shop they got another Y2XL out & it was right size - held up against each there was a very clear size difference. So it's ok you probably haven't pie'd out, it's just miss-printing by Hummel
  12. Vegan pie at AG is actually pretty good, food at football grounds is usually crap & the AG options are better than most TBH, especially outside in the fan village.
  13. What type of work are you in? Virtually every business I know have been struggling to employ people so I doubt your employer has as much leverage over you as they might like to believe.
  14. Their manager doesn’t seem in a good place a week from season opener.
  15. Played the village idiot to perfection.
  16. You make some brilliant points - the club and sponsors can also make smarter decisions on packaging, bit by bit the use of unnecessary plastic and carbon footprint diminishes and it happens by people raising aspects like you & the OP have. It will influence the corporate decision makers & give them something to consider in their meetings when consumers show their dissatisfaction. Trust me this stuff does get through & in current climate crisis no business can ignore their responsibilities. Hubboo the UK largest e-commerce logistics platform - if they take note the impact becomes so much greater. BCFC - hopefully they can see we don’t need corporate landfill Knick-knacks so they can in-future save money, carbon & reduce landfill. Or as @Pezo says let’s go digital passes with cards for those that need them. At the end of the day we are all responsible.
  17. Even better! Smashing the sustainability goals.
  18. They just need to stop and think! 12,000 pcs of unnecessary foam that will take 1,000 years to break down in landfill or get burnt into the atmos. it really annoys me that companies still do thoughtless crap like this. With regards to the businesses you mention all are in serious decline as consumer behaviour has already changed and they haven’t.
  19. A lot of pessimism on here, fair comment too based on our results. I feel the opposite, last season wasn’t as bad as the results would suggest. Had we not conceded late in the Blackpool opener the season would have played out differently, that I’m convinced of - we were playing well but had the confidence issues spilling over from the previous seasons and a dressing not pulling in same direction under Pearson - confidence was our Achilles heel. We’ve moved on Palmer, COD, Bakinson - ideally we move Vyner & Wells but they’ll be involved in the squad as adequate back up if there’s no options to move. The core of the remaining squad played through all that last season & finished well; all those here know what Pearson expects. Scott, Pring, Semenyo, Tanner, Atkinson, Conway, Aymen* & HNM all have another years solid experience and majority will only get better this season. Hopeful Williams will get a full season without injury & Semenyo quickly back to full fitness. The additions of Naismith & Wilson are clearly targeted & look to add strength. Couple more signings would be good. Sykes not sure yet but can’t be any less effective than COD had become but with potentially to offer more. I like that we’ve added Jason Euell to the coaching team, he’ll be a positive factor. Based on all that we’ll do better than most expect us to, become a difficult team to beat & with a potent front line when WSM are fit and firing. No point predicting the exactly what place we’ll end up as it’s the championship but I believe we’ll really enjoy this season, regardless of where we finish.
  20. I love your style of posting, has me in stitches, but I just can’t see you on the half pipe, crack pipe maybe but riding the ramps is a stretch.
  21. Very nice! Ordered for kids right away.
  22. Yeah! Blumming entitled millennials ? Key ring and a £10 voucher, don’t they know the days of wild spending have passed and that Pearson had to be persuaded to sign off the key rings instead of Rudoni.
  23. It also goes into other factors as to why some people become so successful and goes without saying there are always outliers who are exceptions or others who accept their start point and work harder - it’s the point of it & why it interesting as there are known disadvantages but they can also be used in the right way as an opportunity. Seen it with August born kids who had to work twice as hard from early on but when they physically & mentally catch up they can overtake their counterparts. Determination is a key factor but depending on the sport or country; birth date can be a disadvantage to overcome.
