  1. Didn’t think article was particularly insightful, just a long winded re shuffle of thoughts on here.
  2. Yeah, you might be right. I’m starting to think get to end of the season & reassess the managerial situation. I know we have financial constraints & NP has been brave to bring through youngsters but more often I keep thinking what a hungrier & progressive manager could bring to our squad. There’s a whiff of apathy about us these days & it isn’t going away.
  3. This clown is in no place to lecture anyone how to run a football club. I read his book & hasn’t a clue how to run a financially sound business, he got lucky when he blagged he way through the mobile phone gold rush & then spunked the money he made It’s embarrassing how much money he squandered.
  4. Why? No doubt we’ll get offers for Scott & Semenyo - & guess what they’ll be too good to turn down / can’t deny the lad to play in PL etc etc. We’ve heard it all before. HNM doesn’t sign a new contact & boom he’ll be gone too. TBF Why would they stay here to grind out another average championship season at City. Young people tend to want it all now & these lads will be no different given the chance - city will be rubbing their hands thinking we’ve gone from record losses to back in profit thus SL’s sustainability plan. We’ll be treading water until relegation calls when we run out if breath/interest from our owners.
  5. No doubt will be a fascinating summer transfer window. Fully expect all our best prospects will be sold AS, HNM & AS. Income raised from sell on % and a clear out of more players either out of contact or not on the bus will leave us in great shape financially but needing new recruits. However, I get a feeling next season will be a frugal affair as a I suspect SL won’t won’t to sail as close the the FFP limits again so expect the cash banked with free / low cost transfers & academy prospects filling the void.
  6. I like him but a team vying for promotion do not lose 6:0. Think they’ll look back at this as a brutal but smart move if they hire the right successor.
  7. The owners must have looked at his track record & are preemptively avoiding the inevitable Feb Mar losing streak. ?
  8. Can’t agree with that, great lad but too prone to defensive mistakes.
  9. Worth sharing these accounts and wage bill rise with our delusional Suffolk friends. Ashton as CEO would have been reviewing the BCFC Management Accounts on a monthly basis - wage bill accelerates from his arrival onward.
  10. It’s not luck it’s quality we lack. We actually created chances today, but never anyone close enough to finish them when it counted.
  11. The Cheif Medical officers are naturally very cautious in same way lawyers always are, which is fair & to be respected. The PM has such low trust & credibility that it’s impossible to support any of his narratives. There’s a lot of uncertainty but also the playing field is starting to level up through Vaccines, Awareness & Measures. Living in a world of 24/7 news channels doesn’t help. We’re further ahead than same time last year, but not out of the woods by any means so we need to accept those less at risk can live a more normalised life & those at higher risk need to live more cautiously for now. Those who are low risk but have contact with high risk have the important role & decisions to make - at this time of year it might be sensible to take a rain check on attending events to keep their high risk family safe. I don’t see the need for all the partisan sh1t on here & accept everyone is in a different place & had to manage their own risk.
  12. Natural immunity - What does that mean? The vaccine rollout in SA was miles behind the curve earlier this year.
  13. Not completely outrageous pricing but pretty dumb pricing considering nobody really wants to see us play Fulham twice in a row.

I doubt that, more a classic case of Chinese whispers. RG plans public update on NP being unwell & away from club for the foreseeable turns into press conference announcing had left due to ill health.

Maybe this isn't the thread, but these things don't usually happen overnight. On field performances could well be linked to the mental wellness of the manager who sadly may have been struggling for a few weeks. I always got the impression players backed NP, so it could be a case of the atmosphere / culture taking nose-dive recently that brings us to this point. Sad times but we need to believe it's a recoverable situation as it not even halfway through the season, new belief & ideas might just give us a fresh impetus.

So much for wrestling a wolf, only to be undermined by a bunch of pussies.

Alex Neil is the most likely candidate, rumoured to be favoured by the board on a couple of occasions and is currently out of work so should be refreshed ready for the fight.
  20. Omg the puns are bloody cringing.
  21. Good point, I can’t believe we couldn’t find an alternative to Martin, who I like but can’t play the game he’s being asked to especially every match full 90.
  22. Mad, like buying a Ferrari & sticking moped engine in it.
  23. That’s what really bothers me, how the hell have we ended up so badly set up as a team at this level? We’ve earned more than most championship clubs in player sales & a wealthy owner splashing on facilities so while FFP is a challenge, cash necessarily isn’t. What a missed opportunity for the club not to hire the right team to manage recruitment & talent ID.
  24. I feel sorry for Martin, he can’t sub himself but it’s painful watching him play the full 90.
