  1. Collecting mine tomorrow. Hopefully it’s in better condition than yours!
  2. Home Park was close in one thing only, the score. The first 20 mins aside, Argyle were pretty shite.
  3. Leaving early just one part of the problem. We are rarely at full attendance ahead of kick off with so many still in the concourse as the teams come out. Then there’s the pre half time walkouts who are keen to beat the toilet or bar queues and are again slow to return for second half. I've never left a game early, irrespective of the score. Why would I? I’ve paid to come and watch the game of football and I’ll see it through regardless of how we’re doing! Sometimes, that stubbornness rewards me like it did Saturday, oftentimes not! As supporters we have a part to play in creating an atmosphere that’s exciting and encouraging to the team. I’d love to see more people taking their seats in good time and not leaving early. Undoubtedly when the good times return, if we’re on a decent run, we’ll see more of this. We’re probably all running out of steam as the season draws to an end! COYR
  4. Despite my initial indifference to this one, I’ll admit it’s taken off quite well. Had to come back to remind myself of some of the lyrics though as can’t quite make them out when sung at AG!
  5. Dickie O’Leary Knight Vyner Sykes not necessarily in that order, other than Dickie who is standout number one choice
  6. Definitely not hitting the highs in terms of performance levels he was pre injury. But still effective, in flashes at least. Looks like he’s adapting to the new system and I’m sure he will come good again. Should have scored last night.
  7. Quite deservedly, Mehmeti, Wells and Cornick were preferred attacking subs made tonight. In the system we’re playing, with those subs made, there wasn’t scope to bring him on.
  8. Thanks for the reminder on how football works!
  9. I think they got into some great positions in that opening 20 mins, in which had they chosen a better final pass or taken a shot (wow they were reluctant to shoot at times!) they might well have scored. I agree that after than point it was comfortable and looked like there would only be one winner.
  10. Haha! Pretty sure that wasn’t the plan! Had Argyle taken any one of their numerous chances in that opening 20 mins, it could have been a different game.
  11. Optimistic we can get three points from this one. Provided we start better than we did at Plymouth!

I don’t think he’s back to full match sharpness yet, but still think he adds quality and a desire to play forward that we need. If a deal can be done, he’ll be an excellent signing.
  13. I guess it depends on your definition of support. My grandfather, who introduced me to City back in the early 90s, identified the difference between being a fan and being a supporter as the latter meaning that you give the club your money in some form, whether through ST or shirt sales or other means. In what way are you ‘supporting’ the club by not contributing in this way? All that said, you’re welcome to your opinion and to take action accordingly as you see fit. personally though, I’ll stick with it…with my eyes wide open. Nothing blind about this renewal, I know the ‘product’ isn’t great at the minute but I still enjoy going and would rather be there to witness the turn around than lurk on forums moaning about everything.
  14. Isn’t that exactly what withdrawing your support (i.e. not renewing a ST) is doing?
  15. Renewed for me and my son. Yes, this is another season ending in disappointment, but this is my team and I’m not going to walk away. Through thick and thin and all that! We go again next season with renewed hope! COYR
  16. How much do we expect fixtures to be moved from Sat 3pm? I’ll be one of those trying to juggle attending with other commitments like coaching a grass roots team. If there are more frequent Sunday fixtures, I fear I’m going to lose the value of being an ST holder. That said, I’m usually able to shift my tickets to friends when unable to attend. Much easier to do that when we’re playing well of course!
  17. Ok, I see it what you’re saying now. It’s unfortunate for you but I’d argue the £55 for a child ST which includes a free shirt, was far too good a deal. It’s attracted people to buy them without genuine intent for that seat to be filled every match.
  18. I’m sure I’m missing something here - it’s been a long day already! If you and your son are South Stand ST holders already, you can just renew those right? You’re not being forced to move to the Lansdown upper tier? And if you do go up there, it’s cheaper than it is in the South Stand?
  19. I don’t think anything can be read into the attendance at a Mother’s Day midday kick off! Plenty of reasons for people not to attend that one!
  20. Has your son’s ticket gone up that much because he’s now in a higher age category?
  21. I’ll be renewing. £25 total increase for myself and my U19 son in Dolman. Seems reasonable to me. Hopefully the higher increase in South Stand will put off some of those who are misusing their child ST.
  22. I think that’s a bit of an exaggeration. I think, irrespective of where you’re sat in the row, if you stay to the end then you’re going to be behind those who’ve already left their seats.
  23. I’m in row 20…moved up from a few rows lower on account of an absolute clown whose language I could tolerate no longer! It’s a decent view from there.
  24. I am a ST holder in E29. There isn’t an issue with persistent standing so you should be ok for the most part. As people empty out for their half time pint, those closest to the aisles will be obstructed, so perhaps a middle of the row seat will suit you better.
