  1. Hey no worries, had to double check I wasn’t missing it! It’s odd that there’s never any mention of this P&R in any of the Matchday information released by the club. Is that right? The website clearly states an earlier closing time of 22:20
  2. Thanks - but these are for all the other park and ride sites, no mention of Long Ashton.
  3. Ok thanks - so it stays open later on match days?
  4. I see that the park and ride site closes at 22:20 so with an 8pm kick off tomorrow, it’s going to be touch and go (and that’s without the prospect of extra time). Anyone got any experience/knowledge of using this site for evening games? Do they lock the site at 22:20 and that’s it?
  5. Here’s how the table stood after our 0-0 draw with Millwall on 29th December - the start of the current run. Whilst we’ve not been propelled as far as up the league as you’d expect/hope a run like this to achieve, it’s moved us well away from danger, looking up and with positive goal difference. I’m still dreaming of the play offs - one or two more wins with other results going our way and it starts to look more realistic. COYR
  6. Something missing? What, like pain and misery usually associated with watching the men’s team?! I thought it was an exciting, cohesive display of attacking football. Over 30 shots and some great goals.
  7. 76 seats remaining. It’s going to be an incredible atmosphere regardless of who’s filling those seats - a packed Ashton Gate under the lights is a special place to be.
  8. Yeah, really odd that given the limited availability of multiple seats together in the other areas of the ground that were open before these got released. Would have put some people off potentially thinking they couldn’t get seats together.
  9. Lovely stuff from him. Genuine player who gave it all whenever he played. Ok, his strengths didn’t always align to what we’re trying to build now but I could never fault his effort.
  10. If you print the ticket you’ll still be scanning the same barcode as you would if scanning the image from your phone. I think delays come from people not being prepared upon arrival at the turnstile with their ticket ready to scan. To avoid delays, the best thing is to save the image to your phone’s camera roll so you’re not relying on the stadium WiFi or 4G/5G to download the attachment at the turnstile.
  11. This is my fear too. As a member with semi regular attendance for many years (but seldom enough to justify a season ticket) I think a tiered system is the only fair way to sell this game. New members signing up now should be in a third priority group.
  12. I don’t see that being the case. I understand why that happened with the Bentley signing but Semenyo’s leaving isn’t as dependent on someone else coming in as it was with the GK situation. Additionally, Pearson has been surprisingly candid about the transfer speculation around Semenyo so it’s not like there’s anything to delay announcing as we already expect him to no longer be our player. It could we they’re waiting on announcing multiple signings in one big media release. Or it could be he’s popped up to London to see what Palace have to say, assuming they’re matching the fee that is. Glad I took my son to see the Blackburn game at the weekend so he had the chance to see his current favourite City player one last time. Good luck Antoine!
  13. As others have said, it does work on the phone. No need to print. One tip though is to save the image file to your phone’s camera roll or files so you don’t have to rely on stadium WiFi or terrible 4G/5G which is often unusable on game days. It’s the three QR type codes that scan better than the traditional bar code
  14. That’s very true. As brilliant as he was in many aspects of his play, when it comes to the 50/50 balls he doesn’t appear to go in with the intent needed from a CM. That’s not his game and hopefully when others are fit he can return to where he’s at his best. Still played bloody brilliantly mind!
  15. Surely those were the cheers when his name was announced as being subbed off?!
  16. 5th most potent attack coupled with 3rd leakiest defence…at least we’re guaranteed goals in our games! ?
  17. Awful news. A young man about to embark on a new chapter in his life. It’s an absolute tragedy for his family, friends and colleagues. Nice to see the respect shown here and that we can all rise above the tribalism of the game we love. A shame the same can’t be said of a minority on social media. I urge anyone who reads something offensive to please report it.
  18. My observations from an elevated position in the Dolman were as follows: Overall a very determined performance albeit one lacking quality and composure at times. That said, we were up against a very decent team in a good run of form; not exactly the sort to be steamrollered. We started brightly but failed to take advantage of decent positions. Little was especially guilty of wasting chances to deliver a cross and seemed to lack the ability to get the ball out from under his feet or show any great control when in good attacking positions. After about 10 minutes he appeared to then sit back and offered nothing ahead of the excellent Paterson who had a very good half and looks a quality signing. Leeds came into the game from that point and bossed the half up until the last five minutes. It was both their attacking intent and our inability to do the simple things well that invited numerous easy chances. At one point we had six across the back but all backed off and let their players run at our box. Magnusson for me did not look in good form. He gave the ball away and too often launched hopeless balls to an isolated Abraham. He did not appear to have the composure playing out that I'd expected. He wasn't awful by any means but wasn't assured. I felt Fielding too packed composure at times despite some good saves. We ended the half stronger as the game grew a little heated and their CB appeared to want to be sent off (he was then subbed at half time). Abraham had two good chances, slicing the first but was well marshalled for the second. Second half we played much more on the from foot and got in to tackles early to win back possession. Reid and Pack played well together with Freeman and Paterson causing problems for Leeds all night. Freeman looks to be in the best form for some time, even if he's still guilty of overplaying it or holding on to ball for too long at times. Bryan definitely had his hands full with Sacko but did very well against a class player. He could have been helped more by Magnusson whose positioning didn't help him at times. Moore was solid enough when he came on and did well to get up to the pace of the game given he'd had no time to warm up. He's a bit hands on with the opposition players which could lead to more penalties awarded against him if he's too touch tight. He looked composed though and won some good headers and kept his winger quiet. We played some really neat attacking/counter attacking stuff at times with Tomlin at the heart of most of it, not least Pack's well taken goal. We really look to have some incredible attacking ability with so many options, it's wonderful to see. Overall I was most impressed by Paterson, Bryan, Reid, Tomlin and Freeman with Magnusson my only doubt last night. Don't get me wrong, he looks like he'll be a decent player but I wonder if Flint and Moore might be a better pairing? Very pleasing result and some flashes of brilliance. For effort alone it was a 10/10 performance. If we can add a consistency to the quality then we are looking a very decent side, capable of a top 10 finish at least.
