  1. I am a ST holder in E29. There isn’t an issue with persistent standing so you should be ok for the most part. As people empty out for their half time pint, those closest to the aisles will be obstructed, so perhaps a middle of the row seat will suit you better.
  2. Due to a fixture clash with my son’s U13 team and it being Mother’s Day too, we can’t attend on Sunday. I therefore have two seats in Dolman block 29 available: one adult and one U19. Happy to transfer to a member who hasn’t yet got tickets for the game for a fair price - £25 for the pair. The U19 can be upgraded to adult seat although I’m not sure how you do that! Let me know if interested. Cheers. COYR
  3. I’m just quoting the figure given on Coventry’s website
  4. Tough to criticise him when his tackles and blocks have saved certain goals at times. But between him and Max they do contrive to give the opposition opportunities far too often. Communication and leadership across the back line seems to be the issue here. Need a vocal leader like Naismith there.
  5. Agreed. I’d even argue that members who have attended x amount of games this season should have had priority over brand new half season ticket purchasers.
  6. Not denying that others are having issues, but from my perspective it couldn’t have been easier. Followed the email to my reserved tickets. Paid. Received email with tickets about a minute later.
  7. What a day out! Did the added complication of traversing the national rail network make it even more fun? In part, yes…in part, no! fair play to everyone who made it using the trains; it wasn’t easy trying to follow the updates to services. Our original train on the SWR was cancelled due to a land slip, so we departed from another station on an alternative line, requiring 3 changes and change onto GWR. The team on GWR train were, contrary to many comments here, super helpful and allowed us to travel using our SWR tickets, despite not officially being valid. Some confusion when we got to Reading before boarding the Elizabeth line. The driver of that train said he’d try and get through the disrupted area but we decided to alight at Ealing Broadway and take the central line all the way to Stratford. At this point we had not tapped in on any TFL service but the guard at Stratford understood and let us through. we decided to ditch the train on the return as it wasn’t clear if service was on or off! Our very obliging, West Ham supporting friend drove us home to our door. He thought we played very well
  8. Just going by the timetable…which I’ve clearly misread! Ignore me!
  9. That said. Only one train per hour on the Elizabeth line so for those travelling back to Paddington, suspect the central line trains, which depart frequently from Stratford, will be a better option.
  10. No strikes, but a reduced service on that line this Sunday….actually, just checked this and it won’t affect travel between Stratford and Paddington.
  11. Agreed. And, given I’m taking my 12 year old son, I’ll be happier knowing we can sit in the seats we’ve been allocated.
  12. Thank you for this. Are all the seats in the upper tier rail seats or just a section?
  13. Morning all. Well, yesterday was about as limp a start to a new year as we could have imagined…but there’s always the cup! Sunday will be my son’s first away game and my first for a while, so I’m a little out of touch on away days! I collected our tickets yesterday and I see that it’s allocated seating…in reality though, do people abide by these or does it become a free for all? Looking forward to a fun day out with 9k City fans…less excited at the complexities of rail travel given the disruption of works/strikes.
  14. Felt like a missed opportunity today. Credit to Millwall who executed their game plan well, but we never really got going. Very flat from front to back and absolutely no width. On a couple of occasions Williams and Knight broke between the lines and created more of a threat, but we didn’t do it enough. Thought Williams was lucky not to see red at the end; he lost his head! An absolutely needless shove into their player. To compound it he then headed straight down the tunnel at the end of the game, whilst the rest of the team faced the limp applause of what crowd remained. Fair play to Section 82 fans today who did their very best to get things going, despite having very little to get excited by on the pitch.
  15. Pleased for him, but he is a massively frustrating watch at times. I didn’t think he was great for the most part tonight, but he came alive at the right time. Hopefully the goal will give him confidence and we’ll start to see more from him in terms of end product.
  16. …I have our two season ticket seats available for Sunday as we can’t make it. It’s an adult and U19 in Block E29 in the Dolman. If anyone is interested please let me know. COYR
  17. Would be nice if Manning could coach us how to cross a ball properly.
  18. Great advert for league one football. Absolutely terrible.
  19. That’s pathetic. Embarrassing as you say.
  20. This would surely have no bearing on what Lampard does next, other than him not being able to call on Edwards as his assistant. It’s just more BS ‘journalism’ from the Bristol Post.
  21. What am I missing here so far as understanding why Joe Edwards to Millwall impacts anything to do with Lampard and us? Not that I think for a second that FL is coming here!
