  1. Announced on BBC Cambs this morning; "Peterborough United have confirmed their striker Jonson Clarke-Harris will be leaving as ghis contract has expired". Will Rovers try signing him again or could City sign and then loan him to a League 1 team?
  2. Which one is likely to do better when paying at the Mem?
  3. Probably much the same for me. I've never received a warning, but had five posts deleted in the first six years. Presumably either I've toned down, or else this forum allows more now.
  4. At Wembley after a 2-2 draw, Gateshead won 5-4 0n pens. Both sides took 8 pens but either missed, hit the bar or the keepers saved.
  5. 1-1 at ft, extra time about to start. Meanwhile in the battle to get into / stay in Scots Div 2, East Kilbride twice came from behind to draw the first leg of that play off. 2nd leg next Saturday.
  6. If anyone wishes to watch Donny v Crewe; http://www.fawanews.com/Doncaster vs Crewe.html
  7. Saturday is the FA Trophy (FA Cup for professional non league teams) at Wembley. TV coverage on TNT sports 1 at 3.30pm. Earlier it's the FA Vase final (formerly the FA Amateur Cup). TNT Sports 3 from noon. Great Wakering v Romford.
  8. http://www.fawanews.com/Peterborough_vs_Oxford_Utd.html fpr those who want to watch Posh tonight. Asking round friends & neighbours; "Posh'll win tonight"!
  9. Birmingham were 6th and sacked their Manager as they wanted a "name". That didn't quite work out either.
  10. OK; who you cheering on tonight? Bolton / Barnsley, or Crawley / MK
  11. City had to send some of their Stewards to Chester that day to help Chester cope with the large crowd. Two years earlier City were home to Chester, the only team beneath us, for the last game of that season. Both sides knew they were already relegated, but 3,200 attended. To me those are true fans, especially the travelling Chester fans.
  12. And before the game, the "Studio Experts" were telling us that away to Palace gave Utd a chance to climb back up the table.
  13. England's best non league players were selected for England C;
  14. So if Donny get promoted, when they visit the Mem, Rovers could have special glassware produced for the occasion.
  15. 4-3 to Braintree who climb into the Nat Lge.
  16. When Moyes was managing PNE, City were interested in him, but the then directors of Preston refused City permission to speak to him.

    Ollie Pearce

TNT Sports, (channel 408 if you have it) showing the game live.
  18. At Full Tie it's 3-3. No niggly fouls, just two competing teams. All six goals have been well taken after being made out of nothing. Old friend Freddie Sears is playing for Braintree; he's had a few shots, but not scored yet. Extra Time just started. To any City forwards or midfielders reading this, try and watch highlights of this game. They'll show you how to finish.
  19. Damn! Brechn led the league most of the season, but ended up 2nd on goal diff from Buckie. Buckie +64, Brechin +62. Brechin's ground is up to SFL standards.
  20. Bromley win 4-3 on pens. If City decide to sign a striker this Summer, they could do worse than take a look at Sbarra of Solihull.
  21. This afternoon, live on TNT Sports; the Nat League play off final. Who would you prefer in the EFL; Bromley or Solihull? Tomorrow is the Nat Lge South final; Worthing v Braintree. Due to weather postponements earlier in the season, the Scottish non league play offs aren't yet decided.
  22. Found this on a forum for fans of all clubs; Yeah. Thanks. Cheers. Well done. A Birmingham Fan. (We only needed 1 of Blackburn, Plymouth or Sheff Wed to lose, but despite doing it all season, you all managed to win today..... Unbelievable Jeff !! )
  23. Boston won 2-1 and are promoted to the National League. Both sides went for it right to the end. With just two minutes remaining, instead of running the ball to the corner flag Boston players went looking for a third goal. 2002 City played Boston away in the LDV trophy. Any of you on here go up there for it?
  24. https://www.smallheathalliance.com/read.php?1,3580211 I've never loved the blues more than I do right now. My 9 year old said to me he doesn't care what league we're in as long as we can go to the game James and Donovan will really grow in L1 as well.
