That's a real double celebration for Swansea then. Last week they won at AG, then this week we go and win at Swansea's hated Cardiff.

Be fair though; if City were losing, you'ld want the Cardiff keeper to have made at least two fine saves for them to stay ahead.

After dismissing Fred, Harry Dolan wanted Frank O'Farrell, then Torquay's manager, to take over. Frank turned us down as he was a friend of Fred Ford. Not long afterwards, Man U appointed Frank as their manager. When City won promotion in 1965, the players came out to celebrate after the game, but Fred didn't come out.
