It doesn't matter sonny.... I care only for the Gas and laugh at comments like yours..'complete and utter superiority'...over us! yep, if that is the extent of your clubs ambition what else can we do but laugh...

It's not the extent of City's ambition, it is merely a fact. Being football fans we like fans of every club, revel in the failure of nearby clubs.

one of  the best lines in a movie that I have seen is 'are you men gods ?' answer 'No Englishmen the next best thing' this i believe was given by a scotishman

From the film "The man who would be King"? Michael Caine and Sean Connery who uttered that phrase.

  3. Northants have won the T20 three times in our years. Announced on our local news tonight that as the ECB is losing money, a new T20 format is under consideration.

Bye bye the small counties., the new format will be just eight franchises based at the eight most heavily attended venues.

there are some common sense posts there; "There are loads of situations right through the top 5 divisions where smaller clubs are above bigger clubs in the league pyramid. If that wasn't the case football would be crap.Personally I don't really care that much whether we are above them or below them in the league.
I don't see being a Gashead as a constant mission to be higher in the league than them, the way I see it is being a Gashead is great and I hear shitheads talking about their club ( mates included) and it sounds so plastic and shallow. We don't have to be higher above them in the league to be better than them.
    I've got peace of mind"
    .

and others, well; "Gashead good, shythead bad, league position a sideshow for me but would still love to be above them. Enjoyed the Conference as much as league football but looking forward to the Championship next year and the Premiership the year after. Can't wait to see Chelsea etc at the mem for a season before the UWE".

Transfer deadline day must be bloody boring up Horfield way. They must just sit there in front of Sky just waiting for the name Bristol Rovers to be mentioned, it doesn`t happen and they troop off to bed.

Think back to the early 60s. Didn't Rovers then have a publicly announced club POLICY of "No buy, no sell"?
