Agree, brilliant idea but a ridiculously short amount of time to submit details.

If this does become an annual thing (& it should) hopefully this can be ironed out.

Shouldn’t be done at half time either, when everyone is off having a pint and/or a piss.

Before the teams run out probably best time for it.

Yes, but let's remember why this became a topic of conversation in the first place. It was condemned not as a bit of graphic art but for being "woke". And you can like or dislike the kit - I'm personally not keen on anything with Nike ticks so prominent - but it manifestly isn't "woke". Unless people consider the 1966 England training camp as "woke".

Only by some of the loonies!!

@LSNagain posted earlier in the thread that they didn’t like, straight away replies were “what’s your issue with it”? and “#triggered”. Seems clear to me those were posted to work an angle into putting a label on the original poster.

    It’s not a stupid question.

I am not triggered at all by it to be quite frank, but I do understand why some might be unhappy about it and it’s no different to the arguments about changing the Bristol City club badge and the ‘Splat Robin’.

The whole fabric of football is based on a sense of identity and belonging, otherwise why bother supporting anyone? Why bother with football full stop? Why not cheer the opposition when they score?

Whilst personally I don’t think there is any intention other than a bit of funky design I get why some might not like it. It certainly doesn’t mean that they must be therefore ‘far right extremists’. It’s simply personal preference.

That’s the trouble these days, you can’t just not like something because you don’t like it. Far too many people make a leap, “why don’t you like it “?  It must be because you’re racist, homophobic, anti this or anti that.

When the simple truth is, not everyone likes the same things.

Can anyone explain why our website is crap? Always seems days behind!!

It is pretty crap. I was looking the other day for historical records (goalscorers in particular). The only things I could find on the history section was the potted history and legacy numbers. Might be me not looking in the right place, but if it's not in the history section, where is it..?!!

My first thought was if it’s meant to represent the St George cross it should be red.

But it looks like you two are trying to work an angle to paint the poster as homophobic, so I’ll leave you to it.

Tinnion is not our academy leader. We were far better off when he was.

As for "current", as much as I'd hate Warnock anywhere near our club it's a discussion about replacing the manager who is currently failing miserably at his job. So as boring as you find the threads, they ARE current.

Seeing as you're happy with how things are going I wait with bated breath for you to start an invigorating thread on current topics...

The OP is just a WUM, best ignored. He’s so full of shit his eyes are brown.

Pearson wasn’t without his faults, but as I posted the other day, he’s sure proving a tough act to follow.

    Lansdowns and Tinnion out.

So he disagrees with his bosses that this is the best squad they’ve known at this club?

Thats awkward, this lot don’t particularly like it when managers disagree with them.

I’m not even sure why he would make the comment on the players who left, they were all gone before he arrived.

He knew what his squad was,at least he should have, no point bleating about history.

    Agree, 2 excellent pundits.

Far higher calibre of conversation, shame the presenter was so so, felt Owers & Piercy sort of ignored him at times & had their own (excellent) chat.

Love Owers, he’s basically an adopted Bristolian.

Owers comes across just like a city fan. Pretty sure he’s got Manning pegged as a bluffer as well.

Don’t think I’ve heard anyone say he was amazing’ there’s just a lot of people who understand what a good job he done in a absolute shit storm he came into’ there’s still fans out the who don’t get what a mess we were in.

Bang on. He's also proving a pretty tough act to follow. Says a lot.

That’s Randy Crawford (what a voice), I think we’re getting our Randys mixed up, which is definitely a Carry On sketch..

Ah it is - I read Crawford for some reason!

Crawford, Newman…is there a Randy Pritchard?

Way,way off topic but, surely this is the best name of the musical Randy's. Sounds a bit sinister to me.

It’s all relative though - Arsenal are expected to achieve those things. We aren’t - thus, in my view, it would be more satisfying to support a club like ours with everything to achieve than support a club where - given the invincibles season - that’s probably as good as it’ll ever be.

Saying that though, generally winning must be fun. Regardless of 2016, I imagine supporting Leicester this season is fun.

Sorry but that sounds crazy to me. Everything to achieve? If you reckon we’ll be in a Champions League quarter final and top of the premier league at any time before every contributor to this forum curls their toes up, I’ll have a pint of what you’re on.

Come on Rooney didn't get any good results-manning has had loads! The only similarity with Rooney is that the fans didnt give him a chance because they don't want the previous manager sacked!

What is his league record now since starting at the club?

It must be excellent, because as you can see from the above quote Manning has had “loads” of good results…

Honestly, I don’t think you’re on your own…. but I think you’re in the minority. Quite a small minority, I’d think. When you get away support booing and mocking the team - it’s bad.

100%. This is Pulis levels of intense dislike (didn’t want to say hate)

I’ve not been a fan of the Lansdowns for a good while now, but surely even SL with his antipathy towards the fanbase, can see this situation needs bringing to a close.

Liking the hedge, although I would go for a native mix of blackthorn, hawthorn and yew. This country needs its hedgerows back.

I prefer a mix of blackthorn, natch and cheddar valley. But that tends to lead to privy rather than privet.

So you don't think that's where we should be right now, had they bit made the ludicrous decision to sack a man who had sailed the ship through very rocky waters, keeping us in the division when many wouldn't of. A man who has heaps of experience in the game, clearly guiding us in the right direction?

Yep. We asked Christopher Colombos to guide the ship to find a brave new world, now we’ve got Uncle Albert bringing it home.
