Where did the cock in the middle get that from then? QPR spent the whole second half on the floor time wasting.
I thought post Qatar and heading into this season proper added time was going to be played?
Far from the reason we lost but clearly an absolute incompetence from the referee
Don’t knock the officials (they were ******* awful by the way, especially the Lino in front of the dolman) or you’ll have @Portland Bill climbing all over you. Of course he’ll have only “watched” it on the radio as he’s turned his back on the club

He came on around the 58 minute mark.
He looked like he had never played before, a complete passenger.
That’s totally on Manning, he had 7 outfield subs left to bring on & it is a world apart from coming on with 3 minutes to go when you’re 3 up.
This game was still live & doing so effectively meant we played the remainder a man short.
I’ll be amazed if he features again until the season is mathematically over.
I said just before I walked out on 85 minutes (yes I am in the dolman), he looked liked someone who’d won a competition to be a professional footballer for a day.
Prepared to give him time but didn’t see anything to get me excited today.

All this talk of 1974 reminded me that that was the year my Dad first took me to Ashton Gate. Just looked it up and it's only a few days until my anniversary..!! 26th Feb 1974 - beat Millwall 5-2 on a Tuesday afternoon.
50 bloody years..
I remember zero about it..!!

He's come under some stick in recent weeks, but that's the best performance I've seen from us since the Lee Johnson days. Brilliant from Manning and co.
Played a game plan to perfection, kept our shape and discipline brilliantly, counter attacked with pace and took our chances superbly.
Southampton hadn't lost since September and we took them apart, what a performance. Superb from all involved.
I’ve not been 100% sold on him so far, but if we can keep these levels up I’ll be more than happy. Probably the best performance and result against a top side, in the league for 5 or 6 years.
As for the t wat going on about the “cult of Nige”, well I’m one of them if you want to put a label on me, but as long as City are winning, I'm as happy as he next man.

Absolutely superb performance. Drives us on, calms us down. He’s got it all in his locker. Be gutted if we let him go

Are you completely forgetting promotion to the old Division 1 and the 2 seasons that followed? That's easily the highest standard we have played at! Although the 'double' wining side under Cotterill was the most enjoyable season in more recent times.
Well you’ve completely forgotten 2 of them!! We were there for 4….

Last two home crowds 7855 & 7385, if they play a third one then in total they might approach what we’ll get on Tuesday alone.
Tinpot.
You still sat in your armchair slagging off the gAss crowds…?

F’ck me, I’m a poor little rich kid. Who knew? Not me obviously. Nor my wife, kids or bank manager.
Btw I suppose he knows that all of their best players are loans and is happy about that?
Anyone without a donkey jacket is a poor little rich kid to your average gAsshole.

PS - I have a sneaking suspicion that SL doesn't want us to get promoted either. You do have to wonder, don't you. Crazy though, because one season in the Prem and he set's the club up for years and virtually negates the need for him to have to put his hand in his pocket as often.
Doesn't explain all the acts of self sabotage over the years though. This latest one will probably see us back in level 3 in the next couple of years as well. That's my expectation.

God knows what Tinnions idea of front foot football (He used to align it with ‘runners’ and pace , two thiings I don’t see as priorities in a LM player
But do you see us , playing , what you regard as ‘Front Foot Football’ now , or , in the future under LM ?
I don’t
This has been increasingly pissing me off by the week. He sat there after NP was sacked and described the sort of manager they wanted, then employed a possession based manager. We’re bang in trouble with Tinnion at the top of the tree. Can’t wait for this season to end (In safety) then hopefully Manning can start afresh with a new group in the summer. Just hope he’s allowed to find his own identity without too much influence from above.

One of the best things he did tonight was come 45 yards off his line when Forest had that quick break, that’s what you call sweeper keeping.
I’m calling him Maxuel Neuer from now on. His positioning was excellent tonight.

Well played, every man jack of you. Proud of the lot of you tonight, coaches included. Completely dominant, modern and progressive. Front foot football !
Have to agree, thought we were excellent tonight, apart from scoring.
Back 5 were excellent, Maxuel Neuer was sweeping and positioning himself better than I’ve seen , but a special mention to Matty James for me. Thought he was outstanding .
