Lot's depends on the situation with Wells, Palmer and possibly Kalas. Massive amounts of wages tied up with those 3, and if a couple were to leave, we have a bit more wiggle room. The dream scenario is for a couple (preferably the first 2) of those to go, and get some sell on money from the likes of Webster/Brownhill/Kelly. Then we'll have a better chance of hanging on to our promising youngsters, though if I'm honest, I don't think we have a hope in hell of keeping Scott. Just hope we can negotiate a season long loan as part of the transfer. The boy is destined for big things.

It's an interesting question, seeing as they are 38 places below us in the league standings. I assume he also thinks we are closing the gap on Man City then...?!!

I really enjoyed today. My Mum passed away on the 23rd of January, and today was my first day back at the Gate. The introduction of the AG8 was emotional, and the 90 minutes that followed was the perfect tonic. I was telling my mates boys about the Fulham game in the pub pre match, when a bunch of kids played their hearts out for the club. Today was an echo of that, fittingly in front of the men that helped save the club.
