  1. The trouble with male footballers is they're too emotianal.
  2. The ref has caused all this for not booking Phillipe for the Foden foul first half. Love that they’re losing their shit though, Diego Simeone is a weapons grade arsehole.
  3. Well he’s the chairman and if that’s how he really feels, he needs to get his finger out of his ass and sack the staff. Then find a manager or head coach willing to come in with a smaller budget than NP would have had (cos some of it has been used to pay him and his staff off) Then hope he can recruit all the players that need to come in to replace those that need changing. Best of luck Jonboy.
  4. True this. I was telling a couple of mate's in the pub last night how crap it was on Saturday, when my Mrs piped up "why have you just renewed your ST then..?!" I thought for a second and replied "If I never had one I'd probaly never set foot in AG ever again"...!!
  5. SL - Hello Lee, we made a mistake, fancy coming back? LJ - Sure, what’s my budget? SL - nothing sorry mate, we’re skint…hello, Lee are you still there?…Lee?… SL sobs….
  6. On the box next home game, so half 7, quarter to 8? Might be back in the pub by 6 though, so email the robins and let me know it’s on..? Cheers
  7. Sack the board, sack the board, sack the board… Good old days in the car park in front of the grandstand.

This is bang on. I made the point in the pub earlier that Hakeeb Adelakun posted on social media during his time here, that he’d bought a £100k Range Rover. FFS, the likes of Riley, Neville and Walsh, men who sweat blood for our club, wouldn’t have paid that for a house.
  9. I think most people can see that Mr Lansdown is the problem. 25 years of huge underachievement tells the story. A succession of 3rd rate managers, with the odd gem thrown in (Cotts & Gj) then dispensed of on a whim, lays it bare.
  10. It pains me that the best part of Saturday is catching up with friends and family. It should worry SL that our little crew , who range from 20 to 60 years of support have lost faith in how he runs the club. Loved the Cooper years when we never had a pot to piss in, but this is different. Total mismanagement from a financial expert is unbelievable.
  11. I don’t believe that for a minute. They’ve all got something to play for . I’ve been a big fan of Nige since he joined but that was just ******* dire today. and I didn’t leave the pub till 3 and missed the first 15 minutes ?
  12. Surprised he hasn’t got guttering around his bed…
  13. Down to 10 men but lead against Lyon. Would love to see Moysie do it.
  14. What a great night. Cotts reaction summed it all up. The togetherness of everyone at the club was never more evident than then. Bloody depressing innit…!
  15. I Can't Stand Up For Falling Down - Elvis Costello
  16. Why would I mention those 3 as signings when they came through the academy. I see you also included a Cotterill signing, not relevant when discussing LJ.
