    Press

We haven't got enough players with the spuds to carry them out.
  2. An even bigger achievement is we have **** all to show for it.
  3. That's what we saw in the first couple of months of the season. Even in some of our defeats you could see what we were trying to do. I'm baffled by the last months performances though I'm not in the NP out camp yet, but we have to get back to keeping a shape and being more resilient tout suite.
  4. It's not exclusively our ground anymore, and rumour has it the south stand is to be named after a rugby player.
  5. He's already decided. That's why NP has to slash the wage bill and has little to no transfer kitty. The oily bloke in Suffolk pissed it all up the wall.
  6. A quick look through @Nogbad the Bad's thread from preseason, shows that very few (albeit a small sample size) expected us to finish top half. Yet here we are with people losing their shit. I get the last few performances have been (very?) disappointing but there is a major job on here. The owner has no idea what to do, the chairman is a waste of space, so thet leaves Nige and Richard Gould to steer us in the right direction. Let them get on with it I say. BTW, where is Noggers, not like him to have a month off...? Hope he's well.
  7. ******* hell..Dramatic much...!! No championship football?? We acheived that under Joe Jordan long before SL came along. Had the board at the time held onto him, we might well be playing top flight football in a brand new stadium.... Who knows...?
  8. I'd bet Tanner and Atkinson are on a hell of a lot less then the likes of Adelakun,Walsh and Watkins. And they've probably played more games already.
  9. Love Moysie. Part of my favourite ever city team, always shows up for our reunions. The one bloke we will always regret he never managed our club (I think that ship has sailed?)
  10. Knowing my luck, if reincarnation is a thing, I'll come back as a City fan again...
  11. Just get Rodney Marsh and Frank McLintock back. Jobs a good 'un.

    It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
  13. It happens unfortunately. Every team has an off day. When it happens against a decent side it looks worse. A poor performance coupled with injuries in game is a recipe for disaster. I think we have a management team that will take that in their stride though, rather than tearing things up and starting again.
  14. Massively disappointing that he can't stay / get fit. Looks like a lovely player and one that nige could get a tune from. If our previous physio team have curtailed his career it's a crying shame.
  15. One thing to bear in mind with that Bradford game is, we were away to Preston (who were second) on the Saturday before that Tuesday night game. I'm sure plenty would have prioritised that game over the Bradford game.
  16. I agree. Scored 5 in 5 when played central at the beginning of the 18/19 season. Would have liked to see him stay there. Oh well.
  17. You may mock, but I'm never leaving the house without a weapon in my pocket again...
  18. Well, allegedly, all the pieces are in place... https://gaschat.co.uk/thread/18661/wael
