Would it be a surprise if you found out that they’re now accusing anyone who has reservations about signing someone who is on trial for assaulting women of being ‘shitheads’?
No, me neither.

If they really want to go the full amoral Swindon, Lee Power era, then Nile Ranger is still only 32 and Marlon King might be tempted into doing some coaching.
They’re probably on the phone to Adam Johnson as we speak.

Is this new maximum allocations because we took over 3000 to Cardiff last season?

Absolutely classic Gash......................does he actually realise what he's just said ?
You know that thing people say sometimes about how you’re never more than 6 feet away from a rat….
This Gashead is literally saying that at the Mem you’re never more than a few feet away from a Wife Beater or a ‘Paedo’

their own staff attacking fans now too…what is going on with them
Didn’t the club describe the alleged assault of Joey Barton’s wife as a ‘victimless crime’?

A chief scout who got off a charge of murdering a policeman, whereas his two fellow defendants, one of whom is Barton’s mate, got convicted.
A manager who has served a six month prison sentence for common assault & affray, got a further 4 month suspended sentence for ABH, was charged with assault & clearly got off because he wife wouldn’t give evidence & so wasn’t a credible witness. 18 month ban for betting on 44 matches whilst he was a player, too.
Now signing Brown, who pleaded guilty to assaulting one woman in March & goes on trial in 4 weeks accused of assaulting another.
For balance I really didn’t want us to sign Danny Simpson & still wish we hadn’t, but this is off the scale criminality in comparison, which will of course be ignored by the local media.
Truly vile outfit.
I never heard any City fans making excuses for Simpson either.
A very unpopular signing for us.
Some Gasheads are clearly unhappy about this so they’re not all wrong uns.

Couldn’t care less , if he scores goals and plays well , happy days. It’s not like any of us supporters of the club are going to invite him around for dinner and be friends.
Who cares if he assaults women…as long as he scores goals “happy days”
Some of them are proper sinister oddballs

I’m sorry.
The only way this is defendable is if Rovers have a break clause that allows termination of the deal if he’s found guilty (and even then it’s borderline). I can get that they can move on the signing while other clubs wait, but surely they have to have that safeguard.
Whats more sickening is that Rovers are quite active in “her game too” and have worked towards inclusion, irrespective of their managers record. With his alleged assault, Mrs Barton didn’t back it up so you could - potentially - argue benefit of doubt (or gaslighting - was there ever a more apt word for how that “club” treat their fanbase). Here, the victim is going against Brown. They’re undoing any work they’ve done and are being seen to just pay lip service and be hypocrites.
They’ll be in for Greenwood next.
Vile, vile club.
(NB - we have an unfortunate bit of form here with Simpson, but to take a player on a week before a live court case is next level. I also think we wouldn’t make the Simpson decision again)
He’s already admitted to assaulting one woman.

According to someone on Facebook they’re about to sign Jevani Brown who is up in Court next month for beating up a woman.

Any mention on there yet about the old chap getting beaten up and abused by their own fans yet and giving up his ST as a result as reported by their own club?
Thought not.
I expect Henbury Gas is currently arranging a Season Ticket at Ashton Gate for him.
The problem with this situation is that it appears to be real and not total bullshit like the grieving, disabled guy who apparently had his teeth punched out in a violent attack in front of 19k people, Stewards, Police and countless CCTV cameras but was somehow completely missed by everyone.

I wonder what Henbury Gas has to say about this….
If past behaviour is anything to go by he’ll probably make up some more bullshit about us to be lapped up by every gullible dumbo on Slagchat.
We all remember the last time he did it and how they all believed it without question. Funny how the mystery fan has never been seen or heard of again after he supposedly got his season ticket at the Mem…

I am sure they realise it, and have done so for some years - they just don’t want (can’t) admit it publicly.
On the contrary Phil, they wear it like a badge of honour….”tinpot and proud” they write on Social Media, “we know our place unlike you deluded shitheads” they say.
That is until we or anyone else points out how shit and skint they are when all of a sudden the rage kicks in and they start spouting that they’ve got ‘huge’ support, admired all over the World and a mega rich owner who is committed 100% to the Gas unlike SL who, apparently, wants out.

I am confused. 6th richest but not a big club, when teams visit it is their cup final but there is no atmosphere.
This could carry on…
Most loyal fans in the World but rarely sell out their tiny stadium
Much better away support than City but average lower away than us every season
Unique and original in every way but have stolen (or had given to them by others) their kit, ‘anthem’, nickname and stadium
Loved and respected around the World but nobody gives a shit about them outside a few areas in North and East Bristol
The self proclaimed ‘Peoples’ club of Bristol that most actual Bristolians avoid like the plague.

Considering the absolute shit we have had to put up with to still average 20k and over at home is unbelievable support.
Certainly is.
Two seasons of having to cut costs on the pitch has meant that survival in the Championship was the aim rather than promotion. Despite this we’ve continued to average around 20k.
Considering we’ve done next to **** all throughout our history the level of support we attract on a regular basis is phenomenal.

Making up lies for other gullible Slagheads to lap up without question and they think that makes them superior
Worth mentioning as well that it was later claimed that the disabled City fan who was supposedly viscously attacked in front of 19k fans, stewards, cops and dozens of CCTV cameras had teeth ‘knocked out’.
To this day no witnesses, no report to the club or Police, nothing.
