I love international test cricket. Never seen a domestic game, and I've no real love for t20 or one day. It's so sad to see the only form of the game I like be so neglected.
-
Morning all. Jimmy hits a ton and we bowl them out for 73...
-
Got sucked into Jones to the 49ers like everyone else. Lance is a great pick for San Fran.
Surprised by the Broncos skipping on Fields, Chicago have done well there.
Bengals made the right choice imo. Sewell is a beast but OL can still be found in later rounds.
Rodgers must be browsing on rightmove about now

I can the logic in that @Welcome To The Jungle I think if any of Mac Jones, Fields or Lance are still available after 6, then you will see trades up into 7th and/or 8th. To jump the Broncos, Patriots, Houston, Bears could all make moves. Detroit will play on the thought they may take a QB to groom behind Goff. Going to be interesting.
I reckon.
1. Jaguars: Tevor Lawrence
2. Jets: Zac Wilson
3. 49ers: Mac Jones
4. Atlanta: Kyle Pitts
5. Bengals: Penei Sewell
6. Miami: Jam'Mar Chase
7. Lions trade with Broncos: Justin Fields
8. Panthers trade with Patriots: Mac Jones
9. Lions via Broncos trade: Micah Parsons or Devonte Smith
10. Cowboys: Patrick Surtain
Got Jones there twice

My Mock Draft Top 10
1. Jaguars: Tevor Lawrence- Easy
2. Jets: Zac Wilson- Seems to be their choice, personally I think he's the fourth best of the five with poor results against good college teams
3. 49ers: Mac Jones- Lowest risk QB other than Lawrence. He'll have a decent career, but won't be anything special.
4. Atlanta: Kyle Pitts- Best non-QB, as moving on from Ryan will be expensive, and risky.
5. Bengals: Penai Souel?- Massacred the name, but a beast of a man to protect Burrows.
6. Miami: Jamar Chase- Best avaliable weapon to aid Tua.
7. Lions: Devonte Smith- Again a name massacre.Tricky one as they need everything, but right now they have no receiving talent for Goff.
8. Panthers: Christian Darrishaw- Take a punt on Darnold, best protect him well.
9. Broncos: Justin Fields- More game ready than Lance. They seem keen to move on from Lock.
10. Patriots: Trey Lance- Patriots need a QB, and Trey has a high ceiling but low floor. Learn off Newton for a year, then start him.

Browns have done good work on the secondary. Arguably the best squad in the Afc north.
Mac Jones is the interesting one. How good is he and will SF take him?

Annual leave in lockdown. Good job I've 3 more days of cricket to enjoy...
-
I don't think we're going to need more days
-
Rather a pitch like this than the pitches in Australia that are so flat it would make a snooker table blush. Still believe that English pitches are the best...if only the 5 days were a cert

More red. SL is no better than Vincent Tan

Brilliant

Anderson’s record abroad is nowhere near as impressive as it is in England - something Sky Sport cricket have referred to when looking at the next Ashes in Oz. Broads record isn’t that good overseas either.
Last Ashes in Oz only Jimmy came close to matching the Aussie bowlers. The rest were all awful
-
Broad still has a lot to prove for me outside of England. Both amazing in England, but abroad, only Jimmy has really done well.
-
"Right you two, give yourselves five overs to get yourselves back in after tea, then it's T20 batting."
Hope this is Roots talk
-
Great bowling by WI again in session 1. 330 would be a good score now
-
WI on top. Buttler needs a top innings for us to do well. However I think the WI have bowled very well.
-
Broad and Jimmy should have just run themselves out for Dom. Still a good innings and surely we can't lose this...can we?
-
At least it's not boring. No captain has a lower draw percentage than Root (I don't think) having drawn just four tests. I think that stat really shows how naive we are as a test side. We just can't kill a game. Is this an example of the players, or the captain?
Ah well. Lets just go get 'em for now.

Watching the highlights today and it really is sad. Compared to 5 years ago the club has a different ground, different badge, different colours and a different name. 130 years of history stained.

I'm conducting an experiment this evening then. I'm going to try and evaporate condensed milk and condense evaporated milk. I might end up splitting an atom or summink!

Says a lot about us at the moment that we've probably had more posts about a rancid dairy product than we have the actual game in this thread.
It is awful though isn't it! Who in their right mind ever drank that!
Although does anyone know the difference between evaporated and condensed milk?

Once I started sampling club football overseas, which coincided with the EE being demolished, I realised quite how passionless English football fans generally are, and I lost my love for it. One of the biggest reasons for this I feel is a lack of affinity with clubs. Too much money involved.
