I have no idea what other Rovers fans may, or may not think about your fans - some people are very entrenched regarding the views they hold, others are able to be realistic and acknowledge that, as in most walks of life, football clubs will have good and bad amongst their fans.  Personally, I won't be casting any stones.

I know you won't, like I said, you're clued up and nice. But sadly you seem to be in a minority of...hardly any.

An elderly man, who grew up in a different generation - doesn't make it right today though. He was spoken to by other supporters, before being reported.

Every club has a minority of morons - "One city fan should be ashamed of himself for shouting obscenities in the face of a disabled child and his carer when being asked to move by the carer as the child could not see."

It doesn't make it alright. It's the worst excuse in the world.

Are you deliberately missing the point and context? Which is that a large proportion of your gaseous chums irrationally believe all City fans to be thugs and hooligans. You're obviously clued up enough to know that's not true and to see the irony here.

Yeah as i already said I didn't realise how low their attendances were. Im normally quite accurate on attendances so quite surprised to see it.

No drama mate, they keep banging on about how massive their crowds are and after a while the world starts to believe it. Well, those who can't be arsed to check anyway ;)

Hmm not as good as i thought but still better than many teams. I do question how accurate that site is though.

Rovers averaged 6,500 at home during Holloway's tenure, one of the high points in their 'recent' history.

The **** are you talking about? See how the propaganda and disinformation seeps into the consciousness even of the opposition?

So poor it's not even enjoyable really.

I was just saying the same thing. Nonetheless I am enjoying this evening session as otherwise it would have been a fairly miserable Saturday of sport.

And Broad has acquired legend status this evening, which is nice!

Love the one on there about the pasty hut being closed today because it has been condemned..:clapping:

That's too funny. At what point does the hilarity reach critical mass and become nonsensically surreal and just not funny any more?

I don't know about you, but about this time of night I like to slip a petri dish under a squirrel.

I'm not the best when it comes to legalities. What does it mean. registering a charge ? Is it for monies owed ? :help:

It's security against a debt. Your mortgage lender will have a charge on your house, so if you default on the mortgage or become insolvent, the charge holder can take possession of the property and sell it to recover the money owed.

What has not been announced is that Dwane Sports Ltd registered a charge against the Memorial Stadium on 31st May 2017.

Why did they do that ?

Because you're paranoid. Relax, what can possibly go wrong?

How have I found this thread on page 3 today of all days? (other than it being fitting, as the gasheads are a bunch of tits)

Things may not be going great for us at the moment, but let's not forget:

Maybe so, but apparently according to the slags' matchday announcer yesterday, referring to their final game against Milwall: "believe me this will sell out five times over".

So just the 50,000 locked out for that one then? Has he not massively underestimated their colossal fanbase?

Those of you old enough to remember will know that the away section at the Mem is uncovered, so prepare in case of bad weather next season.

All of the away sections at each of your grounds have been uncovered and of third world standards. I'm hoping you get yourselves a wealthy investor who might be able to build you a nice new little ground before we next have to pay you a visit.

This season's attendances would suggest it is about 30%.

That blue "half" of Bristol line peddled by the local media (and them) has been a myth for years.

For at least forty years that I know of. And I grew up in an area, Patchway, that is alleged to be hard-core Rovers . Well it wasn't in the 70s/80s, not even close. And I'm guessing it hasn't swung in their favour in the 30 years since.

You will be proved right.  The club will sack Lee Johnson, I'm absolutely certain as well.

But only because that's how 99% of coach/manager appointments work out.

What I'm more interested in is how many good years we can get out of every successive manager before we sack them.  For Steve Cotterill I felt the decision was made at the correct time.  For Gary Johnson, I felt that decision should have been made sooner.

Where you and I disagree is that I do not think now is the right time for Lee Johnson to be sacked.

All opinions should be invited on a football forum but I'm afraid anyone who constantly posts "I told you so" won't win me over.

And as for "this club never gets it right" I suggest you spend a few weekends watching other football teams and talking to non-city fans to really understand what it's like to support some of the basket case clubs up and down the country.  Yeah, we don't get it all right but until I can throw hundreds of millions of pounds of my own money at the club I am extremely happy with the way Bristol City is making progress.  I checked back on some of my life choices and they haven't all been great.

True that. Besides, no one ever gets proved right in the end where football's concerned, because football just goes on and on through eternal peaks and troughs, with people forever being hired and fired.

Alan Dicks was a failure. Then a success. Then a failure. There is no endgame in football.

We will never get anywhere shoe horning our best ******* player to play out wide for Bobby Reid to play as a 10. He's half the play of LT. Getting extremely tired of LJ's tactics.

Losing to the most boring side in the league after 3 minutes ffs.

Tomlin is playing central behind Tammy according to the commentary, Bobby is on the left.
