I agree re 6 bowlers - where's the problem if they also happen to be the best batsmen? Take Malan out , tell JB to just bat and add Foakes at 8 and you have removed 2 of the 3 problem positions, kept a decent tail. and given yourself a spare leggie. Might not work (probably won't) but beats recalling people who aren't good enough. It's really a needs must scenario. However after we lose 4-1 Bayliss has to go as test coach. 2 wins this summer against teams with bigger holes than us doesn't mask 3 years of underachievment.

Well playing devil's advocate they kept their prem shares when they last got relegated, leaving promoted Exeter with less income. They haven't done well out of the (crap imo) play off system but then everyone knows the rules. was there something else happened (genuinely don't know)? Regardless 2 wrongs don't make a right? and it's salary cap busting Bath that really have the brassneck in this situation (guess we can both agree we don't like them)!

The Montpelier owner wanted to buy a 45% stake in Gloucester, but needed approval from the prem and top 14 members. This wasn't given but 20% was approved. However the Montpelier guy has now called the deal off. Basically 2 competitor clubs have allegedly scuppered investment in a rival.
