And their point is? ? In slight seriousness, there is a big imbalance of Lancs / York’s teams compared to Devon for example. The latter have a big job convincing players to up sticks completely rather than move to a nearby narthern town. Used to be a problem for teams as far ‘north’ as City.

Appreciate logistically it couldn’t / wouldn’t happen but the men are playing Blackburn at home 6 days later - what if a double header could’ve taken place…? I wouldn’t normally suggest adding a women’s game to a men’s one as you would want to see those games stand on their own right, but just as a one off think of the men’s crowd’s chance to see a women’s game without needing to make any extra effort, showcasing that and leading to potential bigger audiences in the future etc. Everybody wins? Just a thought anyway.

From where I sat Barnsley were, if not running riot, certainly having the better of things down both our left and right, and for large chunks of the game. Playing 3 in midfield plus Weimann made us really unbalanced, and (this might be unpopular) Bakinson and HNM seemed to be leaving large gaps behind them. So whether young Ayman or anybody else came on the structure was wrong. Big call by Pearson, mind.
