Guys, I’ve clicked on the link so you don’t have to give the Daily Mail clicks.
The woman is 29 and has had specialised hospital treatment.
Therefore, in the COVID Venn diagram, she fits in the rare middle group - lowest risk, highest treatment. Most people of her age won’t get hospital treatment due to priority
Most of us who are fit and healthy normally will be fine, the point is the risk of carrying and passing onto someone who is in the high risk group. And as more people get it, it’s less likely they can get the medical attention they need
Spot on. Agree that the concern is for the highest risk groups and also ensuring that the NHS can cope by delaying the peak to as far away from Winter as possible (because NHS is under most pressure in Winter). If NHS can cope better that also helps patients who need treatment for something that has nothing to do with coronavirus. So yes most people will have mild symptoms but that’s not the point. If everyone was at high risk then clearly we would be in lockdown far earlier and longer.

Just had an (unfortunate) thought: what if we make it to the play offs and then we win the playoffs and make it to the Premier League all behind closed doors? Haven’t fully decided what I think about that yet, although I think I’d prefer they postponed the play off final in that situation. It would be very strange finally making it to the PL with no fans there. Hopefully it won’t come to pass (the behind closed doors part, although the play offs part is also become more unlikely looking at other results this afternoon).

Just thinking about it, the new ‘Cumberland Village’ that SL is building has 500 homes in it. It’s a very short distance from both the P&R and what would be the location of the Ashton Gate Station. More the reason for a station to be there
Yes the station was mentioned when the Ashton Gate phase 2 plans (which also included those houses) were announced. See from 4.40 on this video:

When I was last involved with this a couple of years ago, the planned site for the AG station was just behind the car showroom on the Winterstoke Rd. But there were real doubts at the time as to whether there would be a station there as part of the first phase of the new line development. Not sure how up to date this site is, but you can get full info here: http://ashtongatestation.org.uk/?page_id=82
Thanks. Fingers crossed!

Positive news. Where was Ashton Gate station precisely - interested to know how far away from the ground it would be compared to Parson St?

BCTV audio not working for me. The app just takes me to a black screen and via internet it won’t load. Perhaps for the best though as we’re winning!

Really good goal. Weimann won the initial header from the throw in on the left touch line and then popped up on the far post to score.

I had the email as well. Glad I’m not alone! The 5 point preview was riveting, especially this bit which made me chuckle:
"Blackburn have won the Premier League for example so managing them in League One comes with sky-high expectations - similar to managing Bristol Rovers in the Conference!"

Tough to take but we’ve had a great December.
Need to have a look at our defensive walls at free kicks though - both v Man U and tonight it seemed to go straight through our wall.

Despite the FA, I am feeling strangely confident. I’m not convinced we will see Tomlin today either.

Anybody else think COD has replaced Freeman as the player who runs a lot, works hard, but has questionable end product?
Think I'd rather see COD on left as he is all left foot. On the right tonight, he was always cutting inside and going across the pitch rather than driving forwards outside his marker to cross from the byline.

Sorry if I'm being thick. But what/who is FK?
It's strangely bugging me.
Probably free kick.

Seen plenty of their fans on Twitter giving us praise for our football (particularly start of 2nd half) and the fact that we went there for the 3 points.
Was going to say same. We clearly impressed a number of the Wolves fans.

Regardless, still playing a player out of position. Square pegs round holes again.
Where do you want Tomlin to play then? In goal? :-)

Yep and the reason why yet again LJ has stuck Tomlin at the left, is his obsession with playing two holding midfielders in both Pack & GON.
Tomlin hasn't played on the left today. Reid is left side.
Played really well first 20 mins. We can win this but need to stop conceding sloppy goals.

Joe looked really good when he came on, even playing on the right wing. For me, he should be starting left midfield as he's so great going forward; let him drop back to left back in his 30s! Freeman, O'Dowda and Paterson can then fight it out for right midfield or be cover for Tomlin and Bryan.

Was it towards the end of the match when there was:
"Oooo arr it's a massacre"
Well that's what I heard anyway
Yes very funny. I even saw some Fulham fans laughing at that chant!

Second trip to Fulham today following the first one in March. Think it's my favourite away ground! Plenty of facilities nearby; pleasant stroll through the park by the river in the sun; friendly atmosphere; large City following; and we win!

Tomlin's getting sharper and fitter which bodes well. Some sharp attacking runs from him today. We went gung ho and took risks in the last 20 mins which is why Frank had to make the saves he did. Deserved the goal. Feel positive considering the club we were playing. We are so much better than last season.

Rewatching the highlights of the game for their 3rd goal can someone tell me what on earth Korey Smith is doing, completely by himself not marking any player within 10 metres of him, no reason he couldn't have stayed with their goalscorer.
It looked like he pulled up as if injured. If so, we'll need Pack to do well on Saturday given O'Neil will be suspended.
-
Not sure Brownhill is that defensive. But Pack O'Neil and Brownhill should hopefully give Tomlin and O'Dowda more attacking freedom. Tomlin and Brownhill to score!

I thought you might have gone and watch Basso at Truro?
In PZ on holiday so a short stroll here but yes Truro not far away. Thankfully PZ have turned it around and are now winning 5-4!

It sounded more the balance with behavioural science than economics. They said peak is still 10-14 weeks away. Lock down is tough and they will want it to be working effectively right across and after the peak. Not lock down too early because the behavioural science says people won’t sustain it for that long.
