Interesting how we all see different things. Thought James’s myself was nailed on. Clever to stop a break but absolutely body checked him.

I understand the point, but I think it was deliberate. If he indicates advantage, then he can not bring it back. Thought he was clever to give himself a couple of seconds and if there was no advantage, bring it back. If there was, then he did play advantage a couple of times.

Neither side had many real efforts on target, but all our close ones just missed. Three or four of them, and same for Forest really. Unfair to say it was a game without chances.

Seen much worse 0-0s. Ebbed and flowed, both sides had chances. Is what it is. No lack of effort, sometimes some real skill from us. Close but no cigar. Well played lads.

Forest raised their pace somewhat start of the half.

Much better watch overall than recent league games so will take that. Certainly looks like it has more goals in it, and got to say in the first half Watford look more likely. Nice to see the other side have a bit of a go, so we always have a chance. Asking a lot for a new formation to just ‘click’ maybe.

Cannot think looking back there were too many Premier League sides put out by a lower league side in round 3. We must be one of the few surely?

Although gate receipts at the prices we charged would not have been huge, £150k for TV and winning is not trivial. Never understood this table. Is it cumulative…ie, if we win round 4 and lose in round 5 do we get £120k or £120k plus £105k?

I mean, objectively it could well have been red. EFL more usually yellow unless ref has an excellent view, with VAR if it’s referred it’s going to be a red.

Would have been more chilled with a second, that on balance we could well have got…but get in!

I think on balance, no VAR is helping us somewhat.

Williams very lucky to have just one yellow, but that is a red.

Decent bit of pressure at the end there. West Ham ping the ball around nicely and their press is a worry, but we are obviously well in it. West Ham have managed to miss some real chances, so would not put my mortgage on us seeing it through, but clearly we are making a real game of it, which is all you can ask.
