  1. Not been great in truth, but good enough. Just sounded like we were starting to create chances in the last 15 or so. Goal up, Bolton sounding toothless and down to ten. Get a second and it really should be three points.
  2. Sounds like we need something in truth. Bolton doing what they set out the do, and us sounding very uninspiring overall
  3. I agree, although the other main risk is its 'football'. What I mean by that is on current form we really should win, Equally Bolton will not finish the season on 2 points. At some stage that run will end. We know better than most it is possible to go on a quite dreadful run, somehow pick up a point, and suddenly a month later you are playing some decent stuff. Yes we should win, subject to key marginal decisions not going against us, injuries, sending offs, just not clicking up front, missing chances, bad day at the office, them scoring career goals, their goalie playing a blinder...
  4. Difficult to argue we possibly got the big calls today, given a marginal penalty, not given one our end, but got to be in the game to take advantage of them.
  5. I think both sides will be rightly disappointed with some of the goals conceded, but still an excellent point. Thrilled with these four points, but not getting carried away. Earned by hard work and guts more than 'being the better team' so let's put them in the bank and on to the next one!
  6. For a couple of minutes was dreaming, but great game, great result. 4 points away in two tough away games, one defeat in seven.
  7. Well, that is unexpected! Got to say, 2-2 flatters us but what the heck. Stay in the game and anything can happen.
  8. Well, Wolves will be very disappointed to go in level, having pretty much dominated up to their goal. Half time and we are still well in it away at Wolves, best we could hope for at this stage. Fammy really sounds like he needs a spell on the bench.
  9. In fairness was a minor miracle we did not conceed one or two like that v Reading. Ho hum.
  10. First 'started well and in form' side we have played this year. Take a draw all day long.
  11. I agree in black and white it looks odd. However, most communication is non verbal, and we do not know about tone, the body language at the the time, that kind of thing. Maybe it was a 'it's currently Baileys place, go take it away from him' kind of statement?
  12. Leading 2-0 at home with 18 minutes to go, we managed to lose against Reading last year, so you may even be being a little generous!
  13. Now if only I had gone for that in the prediction league. Game could have gone either way in truth, but given the run of games we are in, a huge huge win. Takes the pressure off for a couple of games at least. Keep it tight and you always always give yourself a chance. Get in Flinty you beauty!
  14. Disappointed Pack has been dropped. Been one of our most consistent players for me. Good to see Brownhill in the middle, but not been impressed by what I have seen of Smith or CoD so far this season. Hopefully not a case of LJ over thinking it, as he was prone to some times last season. We will see soon enough. Fingers crossed!
  15. Readings home form as good as our away form is poor, bogey team for us and I am not hugely excited to see our line up. 1-0 to us then.
  16. Fact is we have played 3 of the current bottom 5. The next few weeks look much tougher.
  17. Very worrying that after a bright start, that is our second really poor performance in a row against very average sides. £5m for a striker that can manage 60 mins, all horribly disjointed.
  18. Well, that is worrying. Against a team expected to be much closer to the bottom than the top, at home, and we have been...awful. Midfield almost non existent, no real idea what we are trying to do here. Only good news is that we are level.
  19. Totally incoherent first half an hour. Only hope is we will tire them out.
  20. Thought both goals were poor in truth. First, we seemed to have a number of chances to clear it. Second, should Fielding have done better? Beaten twice by low shots outside the area. Would want to see them again told fair.
  21. Well, game of two halves. Really should have got something out of that. Good news that we are creating chances, be nice to get more on target. Reid could have had a hat trick really. Poor in the second half, never really responded when they raised the bar. Ho hum, back to earth.
  22. Eliasson's paperwork obviously all sorted. Would not be surprised to see him get a run out. Not overwhelmed with available strikers, hopefully one or two back to fitness soon.
  23. Think that is a very fair summary, certainly of where I am. Just think I am not inclined to read very much at all in to today's result. Bham did what we did at Brighton (in fairness I was listening rather than there), got an early goal and then defended for their lives in the second half.
