  1. Let's hope for better this half. One Blackburn goal away from meltdown...
  2. Barnsley much the better side by the sounds of it. Nerves, whatever, just does not sound like we have got going. Having said all that, need the big decisions to go your way on a day like today, and not happened with their goal. Forest sounding like they well deserve their 1-0 HT, and Blackburn involved in a bore fest. Fun fact, last six Blackburn have won have all been 1-0, having drawn at HT 0-0. Have to take the game to Barnsley now. They will be nice and relaxed and enjoying themselves. Ho hum.
  3. Cannot argue Barnsley deserve to be ahead, but the nature of the goal is a joke.
  4. Really quite nervous sitting here! Come on boys, one more good home effort.
  5. Agreed. Jumped to 2-0 leads recently at Wigan and Blackburn playing on the break. Just have to see how it goes. Everything is crossed!
  6. 60th game for them today this season. Raised at eyebrow at the crowd to, just over 10k. Can see them doing the same as gas and not stopping until they get to Div 1.
  7. Blackburn are away at Wolves, at home to Villa then finish away at Brentford. It is the nature of fans that if you follow Blackburn you cannot see yourself winning any. If you are a fan of City, Birmingham, Forest or Burton, they all look winnable...
  8. After three home wins on the bounce, no reason we can not make it four. We have shown when we get a goal up, we can play some decent stuff. We have also shown when things start going wrong the nerves kick in, and all the pressure is on us today. Other than throwing a two nil away at Wigan, Barnsley have beaten everyone below us away, bar a draw at Burton, so no real reason to believe it will be easy. If a team like Wolves with nothing to play for can win at Leeds last week, then it shows the nothing to play for crowd are no push overs. Also a real shame it looks like Little is out as it means changing what was starting to be a well settled back four. A day also for keeping a keen eye on other results. Wolves at home to Blackburn (seen a fair few Wolves fans saying they would not be to gutted to lose, because Birmingham). Forest at home to Reading, who need points still to secure a play off, as do Leeds at Burton. Birmingham at Villa of all places tomorrow. All of us at the bottom will I am sure also be plastic Wolves fans for the day. Newcastle Aldo play twice before we play Brighton, so still possible Brighton are Champions by the time we get there. Hopefully the key decisions go our way today, we take our chances, and they miss theirs. From memory a game that has had plenty of goals. A nervous 2-1 to us.
  9. Adding Burton, they have Leeds (H), Barnsley (A) and Reading (H) left. No gimmies there. Think they have enough, but huge win for them today.
  10. I do not think anyone is arguing that we would all be feeling a damned site better if we had won. Sounded like we were more likely to get the second than them to get level. It happens, and then we had to dig out what we could in the last twenty. It could have been 1 point as well. Might have been 7 sure, but it is 4. Its done. On to the next one. Totally in our hands.
  11. Still lots of perms, but for me would rather it was not a 'do or die' last day shoot out.
  12. That is the nighmare scenario! Of course at one level today was a chance to finish it, and on another day maybe we would have got the second. Did not happen, but we held on. Barnsley's away form is pretty decent, would rather Bham had beaten Burton, but it is what it is. Who knows how it may play out, Brighton could already be confirmed champions by the time we go there and may all be nursing hangovers! Still work to do, but do not think any of our players will feel today was easy!
  13. Jesus H Christ, that last twenty was tough. Yes, would have been nice to have won, and maybe we should have won it in first 60, but Blackburn had to give it everything. Could have won, could have lost, but got the point we might all have settled for before kick off. Not there yet, but one home win should now sort it.
  14. Win today and I think we have enough whatever. Far from done yet. We know how it works. Goes 1-1 and it becomes a very different game, and table! Hopefully we can keep it tight, and pick them off for a second.
  15. Well, all the key games within one goal at the moment. Sounds like the difference really has been Tammys finish. Not created a huge amount, some shots from distance, but even so more than them. Whatever LJ says, will be difficult not to drop deeper and deeper the longer it stays like this. It is score or bust for them now, so just need to keep doing what we are doing. Fingers crossed!
  16. Great start, was about to say we had started slowly. Blackburn will now have to have a go.
  17. Just as an aside, Skybet have us at a whopping 25-1 to go down right now. I put a fiver on as I can get drunk for a week on that if it happened!
  18. Random result to keep an eye on, Fulham at home to Villa. Want Fulham to win to keep the teams above them as honest as possible for as long as possible. Next round, Leeds are at Burton and Reading at Forest. Little worried if it comes down to it on last day of the season, Reading are away at Burton, are likely to be safe in the play offs, and could play the kids. Last four games they have Rotherham, Forest, Wigan and Burton!
  19. All the way back in October we beat Blackburn 1-0 with at 88th minute Wilbs goal. Not sure we deserved it that day, but what a crucial goal that might still turn out to be. Put them in the relegation zone, and put us in 6th. 23 points from 14 games.
