After three home wins on the bounce, no reason we can not make it four. We have shown when we get a goal up, we can play some decent stuff. We have also shown when things start going wrong the nerves kick in, and all the pressure is on us today. Other than throwing a two nil away at Wigan, Barnsley have beaten everyone below us away, bar a draw at Burton, so no real reason to believe it will be easy. If a team like Wolves with nothing to play for can win at Leeds last week, then it shows the nothing to play for crowd are no push overs. Also a real shame it looks like Little is out as it means changing what was starting to be a well settled back four. A day also for keeping a keen eye on other results. Wolves at home to Blackburn (seen a fair few Wolves fans saying they would not be to gutted to lose, because Birmingham). Forest at home to Reading, who need points still to secure a play off, as do Leeds at Burton. Birmingham at Villa of all places tomorrow. All of us at the bottom will I am sure also be plastic Wolves fans for the day. Newcastle Aldo play twice before we play Brighton, so still possible Brighton are Champions by the time we get there. Hopefully the key decisions go our way today, we take our chances, and they miss theirs. From memory a game that has had plenty of goals. A nervous 2-1 to us.

I do not think anyone is arguing that we would all be feeling a damned site better if we had won. Sounded like we were more likely to get the second than them to get level. It happens, and then we had to dig out what we could in the last twenty. It could have been 1 point as well. Might have been 7 sure, but it is 4. Its done. On to the next one. Totally in our hands.

That is the nighmare scenario! Of course at one level today was a chance to finish it, and on another day maybe we would have got the second. Did not happen, but we held on. Barnsley's away form is pretty decent, would rather Bham had beaten Burton, but it is what it is. Who knows how it may play out, Brighton could already be confirmed champions by the time we go there and may all be nursing hangovers! Still work to do, but do not think any of our players will feel today was easy!

Jesus H Christ, that last twenty was tough. Yes, would have been nice to have won, and maybe we should have won it in first 60, but Blackburn had to give it everything. Could have won, could have lost, but got the point we might all have settled for before kick off. Not there yet, but one home win should now sort it.

Well, all the key games within one goal at the moment. Sounds like the difference really has been Tammys finish. Not created a huge amount, some shots from distance, but even so more than them. Whatever LJ says, will be difficult not to drop deeper and deeper the longer it stays like this. It is score or bust for them now, so just need to keep doing what we are doing. Fingers crossed!

Random result to keep an eye on, Fulham at home to Villa. Want Fulham to win to keep the teams above them as honest as possible for as long as possible. Next round, Leeds are at Burton and Reading at Forest. Little worried if it comes down to it on last day of the season, Reading are away at Burton, are likely to be safe in the play offs, and could play the kids. Last four games they have Rotherham, Forest, Wigan and Burton!

Real must win for them, wheras the first real chance for us to put this season to bed. We have the poorest away form next to Rotherham, so hopefully we are not to passive, and actually try and play some football. Feels like 1-1 will be the highest score likely, but who knows. We are in the margin of error region now in terms of a chance taken or missed, a mistake, a 25 yard cracker, a decision given or not. Hopefully falls our way today. Birmingham to beat Burton please. Enough of this 'better to have as many involved as possible' stuff. Just want the teams with fewest points to lose now. No surprises wanted at Brighton v Wigan - want to keep that Cat away from being put amougst any pigeons, and Cardiff to beat Forest.

Leaving now. Did not expect to win two the last two games at home, so no real reason we can not repeat it today, but on the basis this season has been one step forward, one step back, going to say 2-2. Hoping for the best, and keeping my ear open for scores at Forest. Only real consistent over our last four games has been the team scoring first has won pretty easily, so here is hoping it is us today. Do we ever have a boring season?

Careful now, is this a friend? http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/152819-be-afraid-be-very-afraid/ Seriously, a lot of teams seem to be better in this league 'sitting back'. Our last four games have been pretty tight until the first goal, and then pretty one sided. I am sure we will not disrespect you, and indeed I suspect some of your side may feel more fired up playing LJ, which is a shame for us in some ways. Often in just comes down to who has the breaks, or takes their chances on the day. Every reason as well for our lot to have more nerves. Decent season for your lot. Hope we are playing you next season.
