  1. Leeds subbing one of their booked players. This ref dishes the red cards, so that might make sense.
  2. Sounded like both sides were pretty comfortable for 35 mins, Leeds maybe shading it, but we started to get on top in last ten. Not sounding a classic. This ref has a rep for lots of cards so need to watch that as well. Hopefully our 'bad' half. Tomlin misses a game after booking?
  3. Home games are always worse - almost as if everyone had somewhere to go. Equally frankly, there has not been a great deal to report so far.
  4. Other than their club name, we will be playing in effect a different team today compared to Wednesday evening, a much tougher one at that. Think we can nick it, but would take the draw.
  5. The Ipswich manager owned up to mugging Derby mid week, where the balance of the match made ours against Rotherham looked balanced. Much better side than their early season form suggests. Having said that still fancy us to nick if 2-1. More than anything, if we drop points, would like to think they it will be too decent goals, rather than shockers. More than anything, it has been the way we have conceeded goals in the last two games that has hurt, even more than the results. More clangers at the back and we will be in oh so familiar waters.
  6. Just for clarity, I was suggesting the flack Tomlin might have come in for, not Tammy.
  7. For me the most frustrating result since we drew at home to Charlton in the 90th or so. Going to Sheff Wed and losing by a late late goal is no disgrace in itself. Should on paper always have been a difficult game. The worry is the nature of the goals we have conceded last two games, and the whole series of if buts from this one game.
  8. Can you imagine the flack he would rightly get if Tammy missed and we then dropped points? Game was in the balance, he is our designated penalty taker, he had to take it. Almost fluke'ish the reobound. He hits it over the bar, we still have 11 players!
  9. Thanks for the report. It is difficult to come to any balanced view just watching the goals. Tomlin a worry from that, penalty aside. Think when you see the winner you may knock one off Flint. On the one hand we lost with the last kick of the game, away at a top six team last year. On the other, well, it was there for the winning.
  10. Anyhow. Tammy - top scorer in the Championship, second top scorer in England. There. A positive. Off for a drink.
  11. It is not the disappointment that hurts. I am used to that. It is the hope! 61 minutes was just looking for 'goal', and it was done. Two post widths away really from 6 points last four days. Ho hum.
  12. In fairness, made a few changes today. He is still looking at all his jigsaw pieces and seeing what makes the best picture. Do not think he is sure yet. There are going to be some ups and downs on the way. Just one of those 'gutters' today. Not rocket science - need to stop giving away poor goals.
  13. Clearly the turning point, but everyone misses penalties now and again. Worst it should have been was 2-1 up and a man up. Just a freakish ten seconds.
  14. The way the game has gone, we have to be disappointed not to have won comfortably. Equally, was a day when everything was going wrong. Gave them a joke goal, scored an own goal, would have been easy for heads to drop. Great spirit to get back and get something from the game in the end.
  15. Should have dropped Tammy for Kodjia... Come on, let's get something from this.
  16. Attempt missed. Luke Freeman (Bristol City) left footed shot from outside the box is high and wide to the left. Assisted by Tammy Abraham.
  17. The goal seems to have Rotherham playing like an away side hanging on to a lead. 15 shots with only 3 on target is not good enough. Way the game has gone, it is there to win, but sounds like 'one of those' games at the moment.
