  1. 74% possession. Given them a goal. Seems to be our preferred half time score.
  2. Have to say we have sounded pretty much on top, bar the one thing that matters!
  3. Yep, he seems to prefer Reid there at the moment, whereas I would like to see Pack and at least see how it goes. He also seems to be warming to Freeman as a starter.
  4. Problem was, before the thread, we could have three of four going at any given time about various things. This at least keeps it in one place.
  5. What in the name of all that is holy is this pile of steaming dog poo?
  6. Great result. With the break coming up, all the Kodjia stuff, will give us a real lift. Whoever we were playing, would not want to have lost three is a row. Second come back win at home, played the three relegated team, and drawn 3-3 overall, and got 3 points. Got to be delighted with that.
  7. Cannot comment on the goal really, but in fairness, it is Little or nothing at the moment in that position.
  8. https://mobile.twitter.com/bcfctweets/status/769520240203960320/photo/1 Bleh, just tried to post the graphic of the team line up, and will not work. Have to say, it looks a much more balanced line up without two up front. Would much rather see Pack than Reid in the two defensive midfielders, and not convinced yet by Freeman, but like the shape.
  9. Spot on. In fairness, sounded in the last twenty they were much more likely to score a second then we were a first, but we kept battling and gave ourselves a chance.
  10. Bleh, close but no cigar. No real complaints about the score listening to it, hate losing, but does not sound like we are a million miles away.
  11. Given it a go. Just been shaded by the sounds of it. Attacking wise, this now sounds a very good side. Need to find ways of tightening it up at the back and we should be just fine.
  12. At the very least we learn something. If that line up can hold its own tonight, it pretty much can in any game this year.
  13. Blimey. Worried about Little, and two up front with Tomlin. Pack in for Brownhill which feels right. Not messing about. Hopefully he feels it is the best team rather than just trying to fit three in to two. Thought Kodjia was in <insert minor premier league side here>. edit - if the graphic is right, maybe it is one up front with Kodjia on the right. Could just work... Matthews on bench, so hopefully not to far away
  14. Norwich have started with four points, but after their 0-0 home draw v a strong Sheff Wed got booed from the field, so their fans may well get on their back if things do not go as they want as well. Wigan and Burton are the types of games we should be doing well in to be confident of mid table. This is another level up. Would take any sort of result, and would not be that gutted if we lose narrowly, but look competitive. Equally could see us getting turned over. Going to say 3-1 to them, but hoping for better. A little fearful of worse. Be interesting to see if Kodjia is there, given the speculation.
  15. Wow. 6 points seems a bit flattering, and lots of work to do, but great to have those points in the bag! Burton will be feeling a bit like we did in the early games last year. Results much better than the performances (at least from commentary). 6 clear of Newcastle.
  16. Sounded in truth pretty much like our first two games. Not exactly clicking, sounding pretty dysfunctional, but winning. Pretty much the reverse of the start of last season.
  17. Not surprised we are going two up front today, although does highlight with only Wilbs on the bench we have little cover. Think this is horses for courses and would expect to go one up front next few games. Would also much prefer to see Tomlin in the centre. Also surprised by Little and Pack if I am honest. We shall see!
  18. Their first home game in the Championship, and they looked (at least from the highlights) unlucky to lose 4-3 on the first day. They will be up for it, we could do with a result to feel confident going in to three tough games. Going to go for 2-2.
  19. Decent goal. Let's be fair however Philgas. You are Bristol Rovers. We are Bristol City. We are kind of rivals. Is this the place in whole of Chrisenden you would come if you are after praise for winning a game?
  20. Dire. Good strike won it (thought the goalie should have done better), so it is what it is. Cardiff looked like they were not up for it, so Scunny it is.
  21. Would not read to much in to it. Lots of Championship sides seem to have had a meh approach to it. Heck, even we did, just somehow dug out a win as well.
  22. Darn you, thought I had got away with it!
