  1. I can't see PA walking at his age... Maybe Pearson wasn't happy with the relationship with PA and the Lansdowns (Steve and Jon) have suddenly realised that they have a good experienced manager that is willing (albeit reluctantly) to be on the 'Lansdown's Bus'. There is zero reason for Steve Lansdown to seek another manager at this time in view that the team are finally united and the wage bill has been significantly reduced. I think a new CEO will come in and NP will get at least a 1 or 2 year extension to his contract. If that doesn't happen, the club really is in a shambolic state.
  2. A reasonably decent couple of PR days for the club, with the away kit launched (at last) and seeing Lansdown and Nige in the same room at the Golf Day. There's hope that SL will take NP into his office and offer him a 2 year extension of his contract.... ??
  3. No praise at all for Pearson...disgusting so far...
  4. It's disgusting of Lansdown to leave us so short of numbers
  5. Tins current role is spot on as he has the best interests of the football club.
  6. 5 Things I would like to say to our owner...(I could list 100) 1. Steve Lansdown is a legend at Bristol City 2. Steve Lansdown redeveloped Ashton Gate. It's amazing now (for home fans) 3. Steve Lansdown should have never appointed Brian Tinnion as Manager 4. Steve Lansdown - Coppell saw how you ran the club in a few weeks and walked because of that! 5. Steve Lansdown - Give NP the required funds NOW so we have cover at GK, CB & CF (not big money required)
  7. The Michael Obafemi was just a suggestion but I didn't realise he was injured to be fair. Burnley probably won't play him anyway when he's fit. He was only given a 1 year contract which tells me he was only signed for back up...
  8. Not confused mate - it's more of a 'this could be a deal worth looking at' if Burnley sign Han-Noah, Reported Wages of Michael Obafemi is just under £13k a week. Not sure how accurate that is obviously, but it would be reasonable Centre Forward cover for a season. His contract is up in June 2024 with Burnley, so he was only given a short deal. https://www.capology.com/player/michael-obafemi-36713/
  9. Get Michael Obafemi on loan as part of our compensation? Just thinking of CF cover whilst Tommy is out?
  10. From what I know, I don't think JCH has the 'personality' for Nige to sign this lad, so rule this one out.
  11. We need cover at GK, CB and CF... The simple summary is... Mr Lansdown is not showing any intent to support Nigel Pearson, whilst we all know that we need cover in these positions. I feel for the manager especially when we have sold 35 Million of talent recently in Semenyo and Scott. It's a poor move by our owner not to support him. We are not talking about spending huge amounts of money to get that cover in, whether that's loan or permanent signings. It must be so frustrating for NP, when he knows that Little Lee had a open cheque book (which was the wrong thing to do clearly). I don't think Nige has a reputation of wasting money at any of his previous clubs and whilst he was aware of our financial position when he was appointed, there must be an air of frustration creeping in now, in view that we have sold 2 of our most valuable assets. I think it's naughty of SL not to give him some kind budget to get the cover in those key positions. For example, if we get injuries to players like Max, Vyner and Nahki, (alongside our other injuries), we are going to be struggling imo. Tomo

  15. The History of both clubs is depressing and the reason why the City of Bristol is not taken seriously by others... Let's hope the next 74 years brings in 1 better result, for the reds of course... COYR...
  16. Our Robin badge is perfectly fine. It's the Eagle that's the problem. Merchandise revenue will very low so the club will soon realise their mistakes....sooner the better hopefully!
  17. Sky Sports News saying we have officially rejected 20 mil
  18. Is this the 2 minute interview about Bryan and new signings or something different?
  19. I think our new core badge is great... Stick with that.... Simples.
  20. Im not totally against the circular city wording that was used on old programmes but have we lost the plot... Its sky blue and looks like Man City and Cov. Don't they understand that there is a red side of Bristol and the sags.. The yellow and green kit with the eagle is worse but come on, who is making these school boy decisions. Bring back hummel. O'Neills... More like O'Dears
