If you’re in the majority I’d be surprised. Everyone I speak to about City wants Manning sacked as soon as possible, the people around me at the ground actually moved on last Sunday from being angry at him to just openly mocking him. Not since Pulis has a City manager been so unpopular and so quickly. This weird chapter in what is a very weird club needs bringing to an end.

It doesn’t scan as well I admit, but there would be more truth in ‘we’re a decent mid table team that’s had the life sucked out of it by this manager’.

Literally a very simple decision, sack him before the end of this season (preferably now) or be forced to sack him next season as we face relegation.

Every time you watch Liverpool you can see Jurgen Klopp’s personality come out in his team. Unfortunately the same goes for Bristol City and the mood hoover we have in charge.

Only thing more boring than watching us play is the ‘oh we’ve been worse before’ or mentioning clubs that are currently doing worse than us.

This squad should not be 14 points off the playoffs with 8 games still to play. It should not be closer to relegation than the playoffs. It should not be losing 5 games out of 6. It should not be taking 12 points from 15 games. It should not be playing the most tedious garbage witnessed at Ashton Gate since Tony Pulis. It should not be playing a style of football so dreadful that it’s made Tommy Conway next to useless. This pitiful excuse of a manager needs to be removed and the two people involved in sacking Nigel Pearson and bringing him in need to also leave.

There can’t be anything more painfully Liam Manning than deciding at 2-0 down with five minutes to go, to make the bold and brave decision to take off a right back and left back and bring on.. a right back and a left back.

Come on I believe in you, one post without chatting utter shit about Nigel Pearson, I reckon you can do it.

How on earth have we gone from Richard Gould and Nigel Pearson to Jon Lansdown, Brian Tinnion and Liam Manning. I mean I know the answer, he lives in Guernsey, but still. What a ******* dumb football club.

I said during the second half yesterday (before he scored), forget his quality defensively he’s our best and most progressive passer of the ball and to be honest if I was having to bet on a city player most likely to score I’d also go for him. Excellent signing. When you consider how much money was wasted on absolute crap under Johnson and Ashton both Dickie and Sykes are two of our best bits of business in a long time.

Fair play it’s a cracking argument, looked round Ashton Gate today and your take is ‘yeah this club should have less fans I reckon’.

Sorry we now have to credit the manager for bringing on Mark Sykes for Harry Cornick? A substitution that surely 99% of the fans wouldn’t have had to make as we’d have all started our most effective attacking player rather than brining him on after 56 minutes.

I posted on here last weekend after the Cardiff that we could have got a corner, Dickie could have scored, we win 1-0 and it changes nothing. Well today we did, and it changes nothing. This manager and his passion killing football need to leave this club as soon as possible. In the next few weeks (probably tomorrow now that we’ve won a game) we’re going to be asked to part with how ever many hundreds of pounds to suffer that dreadful football. Have a look around the ground today, that’s what is going to happen if we continue to be served up the worst football since Tony Pulis.
