If a game was being played on the exact same pitch in the exact same conditions but in Birmingham rather than Brisbane we’d have seen Broad and Anderson opening the bowling last night.
As it is, those two players have been left out and Root decided he had to have a bat because of a decision Nasser Hussain made 19 years ago.

Weeks of talk about the pitch will be underprepared because of all the rain around, pictures yesterday of this green thing looking like Chester-le-Street in April..
Yeah we’ve decided to leave out Jimmy Anderson.

The lightning quick youngster.. David McGoldrick leaving Massengo for dead twice in the build up to that goal.

The analyst should have held up some different numbers I reckon.

In the time that Coventry have been homeless, broke and a laughing stock just how much cash have we chucked around?
Coventry have a much, much better football than us. With ten men, let alone eleven.

Without the Lansdowns, we'd be.... No better than Rovers...!
It would be class if I never had to read this absolute bullshit.

Reid, Webster, Kodjia, Bryan and Ayling.

Reid if you’re counting him as a striker, if not, then Kodjia.

You lose at Ashton Gate, you’re labelled a prat. And that’s the game.

They should have a 2005 style bus tour if they manage to only lose 4-1/4-0.
Absolutely no chance that squad competes in Australia, but frankly, that goes for any squad they could have picked.

Genuine question, is this real or am I being whooshed? I can’t believe anyone could say this shit, with a straight face anyway. Unbelievable, Jeff
Not joking, I genuinely had to check it was real after I’d read it first time.

Every answer, absolutely mental.
The bloke has a bit going on.

We’re not brilliant and there are plenty of teams better than us, but, and I know this is overly simplistic, but I just really like this team and I really like the manager.
I’ll give them all the support I can.

Gamon has a very short memory or is very young. Do you remeber the Cup run, beating Man U, giving Man C a harder game than most prem clubs do and LJ taking us to the heights of the Championship when we expected to win every game? We have gone downhill since then and no single coach, player (nor MA) is to'blame' for that. We all know SL found MA to be the first person in football he could really trust and in your personal world one should think about that.
Most people on here seem happy to criticise MAand for some reason are happy to ignore and forget the good players he brought in and the great deals he did selling players for good money to fit the business model. Complaining about an ex boss at the club has become one of the biggest yawns on here. Let's get this terrible home run under NP sorted out before forgetting where we were at pressing the top of the Championshi
See you tonight? CoYRS
Another genuinely atrocious post, keeping up your 100% record.

Underprepared green seamer with rain around. Your strength is seam bowling and your weakness is top order batting. How on earth is it a 50/50 decision?
What Cummins would have done with a completely different team is irrelevant, and anyway Mike Hussey on commentary said Smith and Labuschagne on the outfield warming up were basically celebrating when they heard England were batting.
