  1. C'mon Danny we know you had a couple of half decent hit's., a few years ago?......but if you don't do your research about NP and Bristol City you'll always just remain a Small Town Boy?
  2. Farewell Robbie.................. i will never forget you.......even though you never called or wrote?
  3. You, too make a fair point...........all i would add is, it would be gamble for his WC chances, which i believe he is very serious about, to get to Palace and establish himself in the first team in a very short time frame? It's just a thought, and i could be way off target?
  4. How can i possibly know? Ha! But surely AS would be better off staying with us for the rest of the season, displaying his undoubted talent, and then having the choice of a number of clubs rather than just Palace? He seems a really switched on young man, with plenty of intelligence, so i could certainly see him carefully weighing up his long term options, rather than going to the first club to make an offer? But then, as i said..........what do I, or anyone else outside his family, possibly know?
  5. Who rattled your cage....and invited you to the party? if Exiled Ajax is polite enough to reply to my post in a reasonable manner.........what the pheck has it got to do with you? Go and have your own petty tiff somewhere else.
  6. My God....you do go on? PS If you are ever lacking a definition, may i recommend Google? PS To save you the trouble, Bhagwan is a Hindu term meaning all knowing Lord PPS. I can safely say with my hand on my heart, that No i would not be furious, as that would be an over reaction.......rather similar to the referee's
  7. I normally respect your intelligent posts...........but all i can say in this instance is......Whatever?
  8. i didn't realise you were the all seeing all knowing Bhagwan of Ashton Gate?, I will obviously have to make sure i do not challenge your authority again. It must be great to always be right?
  9. Mmmm, Interesting that you took a straw poll of thousands of observers, you must be exhausted?.....not so sure about Pearson saying it was a sending off? Find me the quote or video and i will check it out? Anyhow we can play Ping Pong forever? i say it was an absurd over reaction by an over zealous referee, you say it was a terrible tackle that deserved a red card? Let's' just agree to disagree.......even though i am quite obviously in the right! Ha!!
  10. In your opinion, and clearly the substandard referee's?, I have watched the incident 6 to 7 or so times to make it clear in my mind. At worst it is a Yellow. The sending off was an over reaction but yet another kneejerk official.
  11. He maybe a celebrity (!) fan of sorts. But his quote "It was a terrible tackle, a clear red card tackle" is IMHO patently bollox?

    Sending off

I was unable to get to game......so that is the first i have seen of it. I must admit after reading some comments on here I was expecting some kind of feet off the floor career threatening lunge? Having watched it 4 or 5 times....I see it at worst as 2 yellows, and if anything, it is violent conduct by Freeman that could constitute a sending off. I try to remain objective, which is hard with all matters City, but i see Sykes as unlucky?
  14. What was it Jo Jo Barter was saying about the Premier League ?...........he is sad fantasist, who needs help and sympathy?
  15. Great analysis and report as always, I believe that Sykes would be far better utilised further forward or in midfield, and either Tanner or Wilson should be at wing back? Dasilva continues to frustrate me, and i fail to see the point of a wing back who cannot cross, pass or shoot to a reasonable standard........... and I hope he leaves when his contract runs out. There is patently a major problem with a team that constantly starts games well, and then gradually ends up on the back foot, defending deeper and deeper.......I think the problem lies mainly in a midfield that fades as the game progresses and cannot sustain a competitive edge, Pearson should be making more use of the bench, in order to refresh tired legs. Even so, we wrestled ourselves a point, so on we go ?
  16. "It all evens itself out" is a myth perpetrated by bad referees and Teams in the Top 2 of the Table............Ha!
  17. Any indication ...........if Pearson was picking Martin, for the full 90 minutes, upfront every week? ?
  18. I wonder...Pearson gets the players to watch games back, to see their mistakes and how to improve their performances? Do referee's ever get put in front of a recording of their performance by assessor's, to point out their error's and the Pheck ups they make during games? Surely there has to be more responsibility by paid officials if they are failing to do their jobs properly? The odd mistake and oversight is reasonable and acceptable...........but not blatant disregard of the rules and incompetence?
  19. Absolutely delighted........looking forward to the analysis on MOTD!?

    Pearson

Very true........I really do not blame LJ. The problem all along was SL allowing Ashton to turn our club into his own personal Fiefdom? How the hell could Johnson bulld a side capable of promotion, when every important and outstanding squad member was sold as soon as a bid was made?.................... Reid, Webster, Kelly, Bryant, Brownnhill.......the list goes on and on? If he could have kept our team together, who knows what he could have achieved? . LJ had no chance!
  21. I see their new striker loan signing from Everton is on their bench............just hope he is not as good as last week's Everton loanee...Simms?
  22. Yep Pearson seems to have a weird perspective of the right back position, though he see them in training, and i do not? I think Sykes is wasted there, and either Tanner or Wilson should play..........I guess we will see after around 96 minutes who is right and who knows best? Ha!
  23. Unfortunately the League Cup, in it;s many forms has always been noted for it's poor financial rewards? Even when we went on our Man U/Man City adventure.......apart from a couple of decent gate receipts, we only made peanuts, and a tube of Pringle's? Although it was fun, and it got us a lot of good publicity ?
  24. "And JET, I thought the major was a Lady suffragette"....I'll name .... that tune in 2 ? Ha!
