Look at Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford............and get depressed....Ha!! ?

i look back on the 2004 play off final between us and Brighton, which i attended, and compare our paths? Brighton finished 9th in the Prem last season, they have a 20 million pound training ground and a fantastic stadium...and having sold two players in the close season for around 90 million.....they went to Old Trafford today and won 2-1. They have a fantastic manager in Graham Potter, who states that it is all about the collective and the tactics, rather than individuals? Makes you sick? Ha! PS Whatever did happen to that irritating little dwarf.....Leon Knight?

Agree 99%........but i do forsee with my crystal ball, 1 or 2 ... departures and additions? ?

Last weeks was excellent........but this week, not so much? A presenter who just read the auto cue, and appeared to have little knowledge of the game, (Lee Tomlinson?) ......just lots of cliches, and trying to look at the right camera? Wonder who the producer is going out with? Ha!! Bring back analysis and insight, and stop worrying about looks......would be my advice? PS. We think we have it bad in the Championship, but the ref's lower down seem even more appalling?

The only real mistake SL made was taking his eye off of the ball, and being seduced by the Dark Forces of Mark (Darth) Ashton, SL loves Bristol City, and without his largesse we would be well and truly phecked?. He has made mistakes, which i am certain he is well aware of, but they are honest mistakes, when he thought he was doing what he believed was for the good of the club. He has at times, i think, been given bad advice, but the bottom line is, he will not sell unless he is certain that his fantastic legacy will be continued. For all our current problems, we are still in good hands........for which we should be grateful?

His use of substitutes in general, has not proved to be particularly smart or game changing ....in the first 2 games, and also on a number of occasions last season...he does not seem to Utilise them very well IMHO.

interesting choice.......i must admit.......if we WERE to go after him, or anyone in actual fact, it is hard to tempt them, when it is explained that we are massively in debt and have no money to spend? At present we are not a great proposition. Which is why Pearson is probably the best we can hope for at this time, give it till the end of the window on Sept 1st, as, optimistically, i can see things happening positively?

Yes of course hindsight is a wonderful thing. (Sounds like a song title?)........However there IS a problem in midfield IMHO, and, also, Pearson did not make maximum advantage of using the bench? But i am certain Pearson is well aware of these issues, and to be sure, we were very unfortunate to lose the game. Despite our monetary troubles. I believe Pearson will address these problematic aspects, and somehow bolster the midfield, as Williams and James cannot possibly play 3 times a week, even with King playing ocassionally? James and Williams did tire on Saturday, and in an ideal scenario, fresh legs should have been used in the midfield in the last 15/20 minutes of the game, if possible? I have faith in Pearson, and i can see a few changes in and out, over the next few weeks. It's early days, and I remain optimistic.............because most of the time Pearson is doing his very best in a difficult financial environment.
