  1. Sleepy Sunday morning found me wondering if they had built their stand yet so thought I would have a look at slagchat. The thread for the stand has slipped to page two, would appear they have lost interest! Found another thread with some moans about a lack of updates but overall it would appear that, a few preparatory groundworks aside nothing has been done, and no sign of the planning permission being discussed by the council yet either. Is it just me or does it seem completely insane that, with three weeks to go, they haven't started building the stand yet, let alone test events, safety certificates etc.? No way is this going to be ready, they would struggle before Christmas, let alone early August. With 400 season tickets sold for a stand that doesn't exist yet this has the potential to be multitudes more embarrassing for them than Row M.
  2. Run rate still relatively low, running out of wickets though. Think we're on top right now
  3. Maybe there is some hope - great catch
  4. You don't have to engage, it is very easy to passively follow. There's not a whole load of content that isn't available elsewhere anyway.
  5. Damp wicket Somerset's only hope I fear
  6. I had somehow managed to completely forget that fixture even existed!
  7. Just look at all the sad losers with no friends to use their codes - (I have a code if anyone wants it, just DM)
  8. Self cleaning ashtray then?
  9. Can you still get new cars with ashtrays? Maybe buy a phone with NFC using the money you save not buying a new car, then you can keep smoking too!
  10. I did the same, had the codes through last week
  11. In theory, but then the club could choose to refuse you access if you don't show it, in theory.
  12. Has Off Menu got better? I see it recommended a lot, but I listened to the first 4-5 episodes and it was very much just 'Dave' comedians being chummy with each other
  13. Just searched for Things Fell Apart and there are wayyy to many to choose from! Are you able to narrow my search down a little?
  14. Added a couple of those to my downloads
  15. It only shows the Preston game but has the words Season Ticket in big letters below it, I guess it will just show the next upcoming game each time
  16. I loved the Hardcore History series on the First World War, but struggled after that, a lot of the others you mention have been on my subscriptions at some point but then dropped off. I'm not sure why I binned Infinite Monkey Cage, because I quite like Brian Cox (who doesn't?) and am a big fan of Robin Ince, but I think the guests got on my wick sometimes
  17. I think you're probably right, I found Peter Crouch quite a funny bloke in his playing days, but since he retired and turned to making a living by being a funny bloke I've found I can't stand him!
  18. I drive around a lot for work, and this means I also listen to a lot of podcasts. Anyone got any good recommendations? I keep running out of new episodes! My Favourites would be... A History Of Rock Music in 500 Songs by Andrew Hickey - Miles and away the best thing in podcast world in my opinion. If you have any interest in rock music at all this is an absolute tour de force. He's up to episode 166 so far I think, you tend to get a new one every 2-3 weeks. The Constant - A History of Getting Things Wrong - It's a history podcast of sorts, but fairly irreverent and very well presented Cautionary Tales - Another history podcast of sorts, but once again very well presented and generally has a lesson to teach relevant to things happening today Others on my current subscription list are The Rest Is Politics, The Rest Is History, The Bugle, The Trawl, No Such Thing As A Fish, Non Censored, We Can Be Weirdos, Skeptoid, Historical Blindness, Tony Robinson's Cunningcast and History Of English Podcast Some are political so won't be for everyone. What I try quite often but tend to get bored with very quickly are comedians having special guests in (usually other comedians) and having a 'chat'.
  19. 28 I think From the scoring pattern - I know a lot more about football away from City than City themselves!
  20. Ahhhh, I misunderstood what you said, thought you were saying no idea why they were chanting it. Apologies
  21. Wasn’t F Troop the name of the Millwall thugs at the time? Similar to City's CSF
