  1. I did the same, had the codes through last week
  2. In theory, but then the club could choose to refuse you access if you don't show it, in theory.
  3. Has Off Menu got better? I see it recommended a lot, but I listened to the first 4-5 episodes and it was very much just 'Dave' comedians being chummy with each other
  4. Just searched for Things Fell Apart and there are wayyy to many to choose from! Are you able to narrow my search down a little?
  5. Added a couple of those to my downloads
  6. It only shows the Preston game but has the words Season Ticket in big letters below it, I guess it will just show the next upcoming game each time
  7. I loved the Hardcore History series on the First World War, but struggled after that, a lot of the others you mention have been on my subscriptions at some point but then dropped off. I'm not sure why I binned Infinite Monkey Cage, because I quite like Brian Cox (who doesn't?) and am a big fan of Robin Ince, but I think the guests got on my wick sometimes
  8. I think you're probably right, I found Peter Crouch quite a funny bloke in his playing days, but since he retired and turned to making a living by being a funny bloke I've found I can't stand him!
  9. I drive around a lot for work, and this means I also listen to a lot of podcasts. Anyone got any good recommendations? I keep running out of new episodes! My Favourites would be... A History Of Rock Music in 500 Songs by Andrew Hickey - Miles and away the best thing in podcast world in my opinion. If you have any interest in rock music at all this is an absolute tour de force. He's up to episode 166 so far I think, you tend to get a new one every 2-3 weeks. The Constant - A History of Getting Things Wrong - It's a history podcast of sorts, but fairly irreverent and very well presented Cautionary Tales - Another history podcast of sorts, but once again very well presented and generally has a lesson to teach relevant to things happening today Others on my current subscription list are The Rest Is Politics, The Rest Is History, The Bugle, The Trawl, No Such Thing As A Fish, Non Censored, We Can Be Weirdos, Skeptoid, Historical Blindness, Tony Robinson's Cunningcast and History Of English Podcast Some are political so won't be for everyone. What I try quite often but tend to get bored with very quickly are comedians having special guests in (usually other comedians) and having a 'chat'.
  10. 28 I think From the scoring pattern - I know a lot more about football away from City than City themselves!
  11. Ahhhh, I misunderstood what you said, thought you were saying no idea why they were chanting it. Apologies
  12. Wasn’t F Troop the name of the Millwall thugs at the time? Similar to City's CSF
  13. It was very much a hippie thing at the start, and Glastonbury is mecca for hippies
  14. Just use Gmail, makes you completely provider independent
  15. From that link..... "Bristol ****** join an illustrious list of stadiums that operate using an Axess and Ticketmaster partnership, with the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami – home of the Dolphins – and Miami F1 Grand Prix in the US being a flagship client. Rovers will be hoping that it can deliver an NFL matchday experience level to its own fans next season. " Not like them to liken themselves to something way out of their league. Having said that I hope the day never comes when we aspire to be like the NFL!
  16. Unfortunately a reputation gained in the 70s and 80s that we are all tarred with. It still amazes me that the people that earned us that reputation are still often lauded (on here, and elsewhere) as top lads or somesuch and people reminicse about those days without challenge
  17. Saw them on a bill with Metallica in 1999 and didn't know too much about them at the time, though I do remember enjoying them. I would have taken a lot more notice if I'd known who they were because I ******* adored Kyuss!
  18. Well, I googled Amy Clement and can only find good things. If she really is as bad as to colour your opinion of the whole movement then I guess I will have to take your word for it.
  19. Are you calling Her Game Too "vacuous, arrogant grifters in it for their own ends and corporate freebies" or have I misread the thread somehere along the way?
  20. Friday and Saturday headliners weren't great maybe, but Reg more than deserves this slot and Glastonbury is so so much more than the headliners.
  21. Feared the worst the way he hobbled on but seems to be better than expected
  22. First saw him at Reading Festival in '83 singing for Black Sabbath, then with the first MkII reunion, whenever that was
