Your racism is appalling.  And does our entire club a disservice. With the recent increased focus on racism in football, I hope you stay away from Ashton Gate and don't drag us all down to your disgusting level.

Not entirely sure jumping down his throat publicly was the best way to deal with that?

Maybe pointing out the racist remark (made by a non native English speaker) and letting him see the error of his ways would be more positive?

there are grounds in the Conference South in better shape than the Minimal 'Stadium' (a term that must contravene the Trades Description Act or something).  Anyone who believes they are a bigger club than those aforementioned should seek medical advice immediately (there are bigger clubs in League 2)

It was only the fewers that started calling it a stadium when they gatecrashed their way in, it was the Memorial GROUND until that point.

If the women's team continue to improve on their attendances that would make the Chernobyl residents Bristol 4th team.

The City Women's team overtaking the fewers on average attendance would almost be worth them not going out of business for.

I think what bothers me more than 'poverty on a plate' is the placement of the ketchup.

Am I the only one who thinks it should be up by whatever food those letters are supposed to represent?

It should certainly be at the edge of the plate, rather than in the middle to my mind.

  5. If they did come up you would have to be reasonably confident of the Gap surviving the season.

The derbies being back would be nice, but it would be terrible to lose the Gap just because they scabbed a draw at home on the first day of the season and we were the TV match in the evening or something.

At the police HQ open day on Sunday at Portishead I saw kid after kid wearing City Shirt.  I saw nobody wearing a Rovers one. Then again the open day did include horses and dogs so they were probably bared from attending

Football shirts spotted at school open day in Weston today - City 3, Liverpool 1, Barcelona 1.

We are quietly building a very strong support base amongst kids in the area.

Does anyone else find it strange that we have signed 3 former Chelsea players on permanent deals and the Fewers haven't signed any?

Give that Wally is a massive Chelsea fan (with connections, apparently), and given just how wealthy he is, I am amazed they weren't in the frame.

Seriously though, I do recall the Fewers expecting to take Chelsea youth players on loan, thanks to a special relationship.

I thought they had a couple the season we had Tammy? Didn't work out too well as I recall

  8. I would be interested to know just how wide your social circle would need to be to meet three people that moved to Bristol for work, decided to go to both Bristol clubs before choosing one to follow and then all chose the ramshackle bunch.

That Henbury bloke must meet a lot of people!

My point is Rich that we have an incident of some kids with a spray can which unfortunately happens all over Bristol, usually affecting normal people far more often than FV yet on this occasion because its the rovers ground and the words "csf" are sprayed it's deemed newsworthy to the extent that a well known chap puts out a massively tongue in cheek "statement" that the Bristol Post and gasheads actually consider some kind of formal announcement.

Now that I agree with, but it has bugger all to do with football violence (tenuous csf link aside)

Graffiti like that is common in many places around all cities and barely raises comment. This was blown out of proportion agreed.

To be honest, they effect nobody who thinks the same way as you in any manner whatsoever do they.

They are therefore irrelevant to you surely as I am not aware of anything occurring home or away associated directly with the so called CSF.

Football violence affects all football fans directly - why do you think normal fans are treated differently by government, police etc to every other sport?
