Is the Swansea game the turning point then?
A positive performance and a healthy win and we don't look back?
Or another loss at a whimper and an atmosphere more toxic than we've seen in years?
It feels to me its going to come down to that. The following games are harder for sure and whilst there isn't really such a thing as a must win game, this feels like one.

This is what we’re reduced to now. We’ve lost our fourth game in a row to a club who’ve just spent four years in League One, but it’s OK because “we gave it a go”. So what if it felt different. It felt different against Southampton and we’ve lost every game since then. I have zero faith in Manning now, and even less faith in the people that put him there.
Meanwhile Ipswich join the long list of clubs that emerge from the depths of lower league football and pass us on the way up.
Sick of this club.
Post of the night for me, one for FBC @headhunter I think!

It was certainly an improvement on Saturday and we played well at times, but lets not kid ourselves, the concentration and defending was woeful.
We were out done second half by an in game management master class from McKenna, a coach of the like we can only dream of right now.

Well done to Mark Ashton. Personally never had an issue with the guy. Credit where it’s due, has built a strong recruitment strategy with Luke Werhun. Difference is they got the management right and owners appear to have not interfered.
I'm not sure I'd ever say this out loud but I have this season wondered if Mark Ashton wasn't actually the problem.

I am as critical of Manning as anyone but that was an improvement on Saturday against clearly a better team and manager. Second half we played reasonably well at times, but defensively clearly was woeful.
For all that though 4 losses on the bounce is dreadful. Lose Sunday and the Ashton Gate crowd will make the decision for Lansdown!

Worst outcome possible.
Yep, another loss but they don’t see the issues.

A masterclass in coaching and in game management from McKenna though, after a poor start the subs changed the game.

Superb from Sykes and lovely from Tommy. A nice **** you goal that!

Oddly this is turning into Mehmeti’s best performance.

That’s why they are near the top, absolutely lethal.

Great play and goal, well done lads. We did say it’d be so Bristol City if we won this!

Of course you do.

I’ve got no real beef with Tinnion, but can you imagine JL or GM or SL just announcing to BT - we are gonna sack Nige. He’s the Technical Director, of course he was involved in it.
Indeed Fevs. I have been very reliably informed he was.

Has anyone got any actual evidence that BT got rid of Nige? I thought it was JL that wanted him gone after his comments just over a year ago that he was expecting City to have progressed further.
It wasn’t him on his own but he was a key part of it.

I can’t imagine anyone would want to see us lose 7 - 0, but even if we did I don’t think they would sack him.

@Curr Avon @headhunter that was the best FBC yet! Superb argument and analysis with varied views. Ian is incredibly annoying and his views out there but he’s an essential part of the podcast and brings that different perspective every time; for that it’s hugely entertaining. Keep it up!

Well done @Davefevs thought you did well. By SOTC standards a really good debate. Presenter didn’t seem to want to entertain the notion of Manning getting sacked but you and Tom argued yours points very well.

Other fans seem to perceive him as the English Pep in waiting. He may well be successful at some point; it just doesn’t feel like it will be with us.
