Completely agree. What a sad legacy to leave behind, a large proportion of fans hating you and your decisions. Should’ve sold up years ago when his stock was still relatively high.

This is why JL's statement is a joke. Who is better than NP to get promotion to the Premier League? I doubt whoever they replace with won't have a CV like Pearson's.

It will be based on his continued nepotism and wanting a 'yes' man as 'head coach'. There will be the usual crowd of Appleton, Robins etc. but I think he'll go for what he thinks is a winning combination: ex-player, young coach, modern thinking, will do everything I say etc. I think he'll appoint Cole Skuse (sick in mouth).

I hope there is a significant backlash to this. I've never known anything like it. I just hope we don't just sleep walk into the next ridiculous Lansdown decision and actually make ourselves heard for a change.

The vast majority of City fans recognise what you have achieved with significant constraints and believed in you. The backlash from City fans to the news is telling and demonstrable of how much you are respected by City fans. Thank you.

I certainly hope there is significant backlash to this rather being sleepy Bristol City about it and taking from Lansdown.

I am absolutely shocked like many of you on here and furious at the decision. I was upset when Cotts got the sack but this another level; this is proper, proper anger. I've never felt like this about any City manager's sacking. The statement from JL is laughable. No City fan expected promotion this season, absolutely none. Even the most positive would've been happy with a top 10 finish. He and his maniac father are deluded and at this point now down right dangerous. Surely to God there has to be some sort of protest organised here? Or are we just going to let them get away with it?

Same for me. Managers and even Chairman are temporary after all, as much as many of us love what NP is doing. Like most of you I will still be supporting City long after NP and SL have gone. That’s what SL still doesn’t seem to understand: it’s not his club, it’s ours.
