  1. I am absolutely shocked like many of you on here and furious at the decision. I was upset when Cotts got the sack but this another level; this is proper, proper anger. I've never felt like this about any City manager's sacking. The statement from JL is laughable. No City fan expected promotion this season, absolutely none. Even the most positive would've been happy with a top 10 finish. He and his maniac father are deluded and at this point now down right dangerous. Surely to God there has to be some sort of protest organised here? Or are we just going to let them get away with it?
  2. @phantom has already responded along the same lines I was going to. Obviously appreciate your views Rich and I normally agree with you on a fair bit.
  3. Not sure what’s being suggested here. Are people saying he’s gone all Machiavellian?
  4. Same for me. Managers and even Chairman are temporary after all, as much as many of us love what NP is doing. Like most of you I will still be supporting City long after NP and SL have gone. That’s what SL still doesn’t seem to understand: it’s not his club, it’s ours.
  5. If he sacks NP it will because of them clashing personally, not for football reasons. If it was purely based on football he should be given a new contract and we kick on.
  6. I agree Pete, only people I know of supporting SL are on here.
  7. Rowett isn’t a SL type appointment as he isn’t a) an ex player, b) someone he can manipulate and c) a yes man. I’d be furious he was appointed though as it’d clearly mean NP had gone. SL has only made 3 good management appointments in his tenure and it’s time he fully got behind the current one.
  8. And weirdly Spurs are better without him. Bellingham is different gravy. What a player! 10 goals in his first 10 game for Real and two in his first El Clasico. He’s a hero for them already.
  9. I am sure many of you see this in your professional lives; managing people out.
  10. Lansdown can **** off to Guernsey permanently if he sacks him after that. NP knows exactly what’s going on.
  11. That's probably true yes, and part of my previous point on the relative lack of criticism.
  12. I can't see him going anywhere anytime soon; but you are right, changing the manager will make no difference. NP is doing the best he can with what we have.
  13. Nor sure I am quite that strong about it but I get your points. Had we signed him a year or two ago then perhaps the fans views would be different.
  14. Completely agree. I can't believe how relatively little criticism he gets on here. He's a reasonable keeper, but he's not top 6 Championship level and does indeed cost us too many important goals. A new, experienced goalkeeper is a must, if nothing else to be good challenge for him.
  15. Agreed Pete. Given the injuries we've played OK I think and deserve a bit more than a 2 - 0 loss.
  16. Exactly, we haven't got any. He has to play as we've literally no other strikers.
  17. Just said the same to a mate. That's exactly what happened.
  18. Me neither Dolly. The links posted just have pop up hell.
  19. City old boys with Scott and Brownhill on the pitch too.
  20. Well we knew it would be weakened but bloody hell. If we get a point it will be a superb result.
