Whilst there is no doubt benefit for the economy with the tournament I actually prefer it when it’s hosted elsewhere. Part of the attraction of the Euros (or the World Cup) is when it’s abroad at a relatively close country.

I agree. First few games I saw him play I didn’t rate him at all. Very glad to be proved wrong!

Completely agree. I’ve said a few times on here I am staggered at how many people buy this over priced crap from the ground when there are so many better value options in the immediate local area.

Because we played pretty well, were two nil up but ended up losing.

Quite a shock result that. We played pretty well at times but really need to put away and make more of those chances. The quadruple substitution was odd though and for me Max had a very poor game.

Thanks @petehinton I do appreciate all you do on OSIB. Whilst there were pockets of good stuff on the whole I didn’t find the format worked too well. Four guests felt too many and looking back over a long period meant things weren’t covered in much or any depth. Part of the OSIB charm was the irrelevance and going off on a tangent/rant on a particular issue, which didn’t happen in this case as so much ground tried to be covered in a relatively short space of time. Obviously it’s the first one of the new format and I am sure it will find its feet and I get you are trying to do something different now, just my observations; and as I say I do appreciate it, you and Exiled Robin are always a good listen.

Best advice we could probably give is don’t bother! It’s a life of disappointment and mediocrity with the odd dash of success and hope every 10 years or so! Joking aside all of the above also creates a life of fun, excitement, camaraderie and passion I don’t think you will find anywhere. Welcome!

No I’m not, as I mentioned in my post honours is the top one for me but the others play a part too.

Completely agree. The other aspects do play a part but first and foremost its honours achieved, and of those prioritised based on level they were achieved at (league cup win trumping league trophy win, Championship title trumping league one title etc.).
