Not unhappy at all there. Battling defensive performance, could’ve nicked a draw and it took a pen to decide it. Also, it’s only 1 - 0 so not morale draining.

I agree, on paper they are far superior to us and as others have said the best in the division. A draw would be a superb result.

Not just on here in the ground too. It wasn’t that long ago that every time he touched the call the ironic “VYNER!” shouts would go out. Very different now.

Some on here won’t like it but I’ve more respect for a Gas head who goes to every game that a Bristol based Liverpool fan who has never been.

Me too. I have a soft spot for local non league teams to a point but it’s not anywhere near being a fan like I am with City. Hearing someone with a thick Bristol accent proclaiming their support for Liverpool/Chelsea/Man Utd is awful. I typically find I know more about ‘their’ clubs than they do! I feel genuinely sorry for people that don’t go regularly to live football.

Totally agree, his best ever interview I think very insightful and a good reminder for us all what an experienced, talented and successfully manager we have.

The singing for him last night was unbelievable! It was great for the atmosphere and good to see him score; but if you were new to Bristol City watching last night you could be forgiven for saying “who is this Cornick fella and when did he score the goal that won you promotion?!”. Could be a real cult hero in the making.
