I think this ticket would have been issued at the BTM booking office,and 9th july 1976 was a friday so that meant no school the following day Although the ticket COULD have said 1970. I would not have worked the train as I was based at BTM at the time

WBA v Cardiff has been moved from Tuesday 16 august to Wednesday 17th August due the commonwealth games which actually finish's on monday 8th August Can get my head round this one although it would be a good reason to move it to the Sunday
