I see our sensitive ears were protected by the crowd mics being turned right down as well…… he’s such a popular champion
No apology for the bad language ergo football

Oh well, that’s my dream of seeing her knock Price out over…..
She just lost a bit of consistency and @TomF I must admit I haven’t really been riled by Wardle before, but that was annoying and embarrassing, so maybe I’ll join your anti-Wardle
Mardle's a joke. Kept referring to Fallon as Sharrock not Sherrock. Sky's top commentator as well

May be many pissed off at that point if it happened but I just don't see City fans abandoning the team after 20 minutes.
Blackpool Saturday 13th April 2002. IIRC we were 4-0 down after half and hour. Plenty of City fans abandoning the play off dream that day

Won the Title with Chelsea in 1955 as a player. Took Hereford and Coventry to their highest league positions ever and of course won the FA cup for Coventry as a Manager.
RIP big man

I agree. Or JL.
Suspect they’ll leave it to RG though.
Someone showed me an article from the Sunday papers yesterday….allegedly a Championship club, with their own ground but a low value group of players is looking to sell for £100m. Wonder who that could be?
@myol'man want to share the cutting?
This could be Preston North End as the owner has passed away recently

I wish there was a mute option for Mardle
What a pleasure it was to watch the Darts without Mardle. Itv4 coverage is so much better than SKY

A couple of other Goalkeeping loans stick out in my mind were Tim Carter (RIP) who was ex R####S from Sunderland who was decent and Mark Prudhoe who would kick the ball out from a back pass with his feet long before the back pass rule came in.

We had a bloke on loan by the name of Ian Leigh. He was bad.
On Loan from Bournemouth IIRC. Was hopeless for us but then had the nerve to come back to Ashton Gate and have the match of his life the following season playing for Bornemouth.

I trust you all be on the climate demo tommorrow. College green 12.00 pm
Never easier. Just go into the dealer hand over 5k deposit sign up to four years of £400 a month payments or give them 30k to buy it outright. Couldn't be easier.

Why don't we ever get scabby luck like that?

Remember us getting Ron Groves from Weston super Mare in the 80s so nothing new here.
I could name Lillington,Ward, Stroud as questionable refs talent wise but i would never question their integrity nor would i question Mr Bramall's
Poor post from such a respected poster.

There should be a statue of AD At Ashton Gate..............and also some kind of tribute to Gerry Gow. GG was immense, his combination of toughness and skill would be worth a fortune in todays transfer market. What an outstanding player.
It amazing to think Gerry ended up working in a supermarket later in life. If he had been playing today he would have been a regular Scotland international and would have commaned wages that would have set him and his family up for life. Such a pity that a first class pro like Gerry was born in the wrong generation to be a footballer but then again he wouldn't have played for us for over ten years if he was about today.

Nigel is a generational name. My g’father born in 1902 was called Alfred or Alfie. G’mother born 1901 was called Hilda. Not names heard much these days but fairly common back then.

Each entitled to your own opinion and who i am i to argue?
However i remember a league cup first round tie against Cardiff. In those days you would play a home and away Leg. We had played Cardiff away and lost 1-0 but in the return leg we put them to the sword and IIRC beat them 5-1 with Jacki and Andrew Cole on fire on a great Tuesday night that still lives long in the memory.
Funny thing is i can't remember another first round league cup tie so fondly which is the point Jacki was an entertainer but i accept some supporters won't share that opinion

There is a thread on their forum called" My thrice weekly laugh at the Wurzel's" funnily enough it has been updated since we beat them in Cardiff again.

Holloway is Gas through and through, but he's been decent and respectful on a number of occasions.
He's been a customer at the business I work in for a number of years and when he is in he has no ego and is respectful of my colleagues and the service we provide.

MVG completely off his game, never seen him play so badly
I think that shows that any top class professional can be got at when the opponent's put pressure on them
-
My wife asked me how much chance has MVG got of winning in the last leg and I said the only way he will get out of this is if Chizzy fall over and breaks his wrist!
-
MVG will have to pull out the best darts of his life to get out of this
