Too obvious maybe but Michael Knights car was KIT as previously posted but such an easy choice if releasing new away strip.

Imagine JL on day one ....

"Have you thought about having a perm? "

"Oh yes, all new team members have to wear the jeans and a black leather jacket, for their pictures"

"Excellent, now just talk into your watch"

They paid their £8 for a blue tick, so they must be legit.

I too follow pages purely for the lols it gives

There's both recent and aged precedents of this with the club.  I think I read that Ross McCrorie did this at Aberdeen to ensure that the club got fair value, something we will have been aware of.  And further back, Darren Barnard did the same for us when Danny Wilson was coming in for him at Barnsley after their promotion to the prem.

Not sure I'm gonna believe it until it is confirmed by Roy D'Alien (or whatever he was called)

West Ham need permission from City to talk to Alex or his Agents, whether they’ve bid or not.  Whether they follow protocol or not is unknown.

So IF they have talked to him.  They presumably had Citys permission?

IF not you would imagine City would be furious ?

Unless City were thinking a deal is close and happy to turn a blind eye for this deal.

Im actually getting to saturation point I think .... not sure I care either way ?

There’s not promising a player minutes and not promising a player minutes but selling the club, the journey at the same time.  I’ve no idea whether this is true or not, but I’d like to be (?), so it gives more likelihood of Alex being here next season.

We don’t know when this happened, and it’s possible that to do remotely, Alex in Austria, his reps there in person with West Ham reps, or combos of.

Even in the 90s players were using mobile phones to do transfers (apart from the physical signing) whilst on holidays.

Ive just woke up , its early.  Ive not have coffee.  So I could be well wide of the mark here.  If so forgive me.

I thought the same as someone mentioned above.  Perhaps it was a zoom meeting.  That could easy explain Austria etc.

BUT ... I thought that Alex would not be allowed to speak to WH unless a bid had been accepted?  Or doees WH only require BCFC permission?

I appreciate WH are allowed to talk to Alex's representatives,  But to actually officially talk to Alex himself I thought they required permission?

I might have missed something somewhere, so apologies if I have

I feel totally relaxed about this. I'd like him to stay for another season but if the price is right so be it. Of course it has to be £25M minimum, and in full without instalments. After all if a team is going to make an opening bid of £22M then you know they're going to stretch to £25M even if the add ons get adjusted.

Agree.   If the opening bid is 22M ..... I think he is effectively gone.   West Ham have a load of money, as we all know.   If City hold strong, WH will either find the cash, or another club will.

Do people really think that Knight has only just heard of the City interest and bids?
He and his representatives will have known for some time and likewise had ample opportunity to decide whether to twist or stick.
Him going on holiday changes nothing imho.
If there are other clubs lurking that didn’t show before then of course he’s going to want to see which is the best move for him and his family. Meanwhile, do we wait or move onto other targets ?

    I agree with this. ^

However, just made me giggle thinking about this.

Would love to see a player sign for a lurking club.   "Well when I heard <name of club> were lurking after me, I had to sign.  They've always been my mysteriousl boyhood club, so to get this chance is a dream come true"
