Yeah I can understand that with Bristol Sport but I think that came with it being "in-house" and them struggling to find the right people to actually make them, no excuses obviously but it's a shame they couldn't continue and try to fix that issue by finding a good supplier.
With O'Neills, I just don't think they're capable of supplying us with what we need. Bristol Sport and Hummell both delivered on the design aspect, Adidas delivered quality but failed on the supply and the club dropped the ball on the designs, Puma I think fulfilled what we needed but the templates were a little "meh".
One thing I do wonder when it comes to kit supply is why we've never gone back to Umbro. Umbro make high quality kits, and the designs are usually classy, clean and on brand.
I keep playing with already released Umbro templates and in the last 10 minutes made these and it just makes me frustrated that this is something Umbro could put in place instantly as the templates are already there, no 18 months to design etc, it would just be printing using things they already have in place.
Aren't Umbro owned by Nike nowadays?
Didn't Nike buy them cos of Wayne Rooney sponsorship deal?

Unrelated but with Banksy being a ciderhead I’ve always wondered why we’ve never reached out, even if all profits went to charity (probably a sticking point), it would be iconic.
Think how many shirts club would sell if had Banksy design?
Truly a USP of the club
Could start a tradition. Always have the 3rd kit as a different street artist

What sort of table is it? I hope it's an extender because you never know how many representatives players might have.
I hope its not IKEA
Would take an age to assemble. And would explain why no deal is done yet

Genuinely would not be upset if the away kit was blue. Could use it to reclaim Bristol Blue.
As someone mentioned earlier would also be good to see some street art variant. I think an Inkie shirt would be spot on

Is it me or do we have “supply issues” with every kit manufacturer??? What’s the common denominator here…??
Football shirts?

I’m still shocked people are not getting it,
The away kit will be blue, they are releasing it as late as possible as people can finish complaining/moaning about the third kit, then release the blue away kit just close enough to the start of the season or just after.
The people who run the club are not stupid, they know a lot of people won’t be happy.
Unhappy people ? On this forum?
Seems a little far fetched

I don’t think anyone knows whether there are any add-ons at all, let alone the amount, or what the construct might be! It’s just guesswork / speculation.
It sounds like the numbers round on Countdown
1 big number
5m in whatever addons you like

For us, it's the same as Barcelona bringing in a replacement for Messi - there isn't one.
Are they just playing with 10 men?

If JL designs it then perhaps a massive C would be appropriate!
C ... for CHAMPIONS

Just wondering, if JL will follow Elon? And replace a bird logo with a single letter?
Will he be able to resist the chance to do a new logo?
Which letter of the alphabet to choose?

I think Luton are going to surprise alot of people,
I also think Sheffield United will be OK this season, but both will be in the mix for going down,
.. We'll see

That surprises me

I’m not sure if I was in Scott’s shoes I’d want this move. Plus side you’d certainly play but minus side they appear to be up a certain creek without a certain implement

Surely it’s all about profit margin for the club. I imagine O’Neills have been screwed to a dirt-cheap deal…. And unsurprisingly the quality matches.
Never mind. We ALWAYS have a unique* kit thanks to JL.
*unless you can remember the previous version of it.

You should see the insurance premiums for footballers on Merseyside though, mate - the excess on Theft alone must be about 6 billion quid, such is the likelihood of you being robbed by lowlife scrotes whilst your wife and kids are home alone.
Not just footballers

Just wondering what this week holds for Scott's transfer.
My best guess is an extra 25-30 pages on this thread!
I hope so .... I have 4.75 riding on it

Who bids £30m for a player who's price is £25m?
Clubs that are afraid to haggle
And possibly Mark Ashton

I dont normally hate on other clubs kits. Obviously they dont mean much to me and I have no idea as to the relevance of some of the elements.
So I just take it on face value.
That is GOD AWFUL
I was scrolling down, saw the sponsor and the first map of Reading was appalled. Its way too busy.
Then scrolled down and saw the second row of (I presume) Reading icons
Then more buildings on the sleeve.
I used to work in Reading ... boring dull souless place
It would be better if they were sponsored by A-Z (yes Im that old)

Excellent by the admin on Bristol City Twitter given all the speculation.
Yes he may well still go but we're handling this impeccably as a club. Major xredit to Scott too so far, some players throw their toys out when there's speculation linking with higher paying or PL clubs.
Gotta be worth a couple more million to the price

I thought it best to go straight to the main man.
Ive emailed SL and said
Enough is enough, this forum post is going on forever. We discussed everything, we're onto fish and electric puns now for heavens hake
