When the news broke yesterday my initial thoughts were Benn wouldn't be the sort to do that but when you think about how sudden his improvement has been over the last few years it does raise a lot of suspicion, particularly when you look at the masking capabilities it has for steroid use.

I hope Eddie see's sense and pulls the fight as it isn't worth whatever money is on the line as the measures he's going to have to take will be damaging to Matchroom, he's done a lot of good for British boxing over the last decade but this would stink and would always be held against him. If the DAZN move was going better for him and AJ was still on top I think his judgement would be better and not so financially driven, maybe because he hasn't failed a UKAD test it opens up a lot of legal liabilities for them if the fight doesn't happen as CEJr could sue them directly so he has to show mitigation measures to ensure he isn't liable?

 

I dont think they will hold it as an exhibition fight.

Because exhibition fights are not scored by judges, so should it go the distance.  There is no official winner.

Just cant see that being acceptable.

My guess would be if the BBBoC say no.  They will already have the Lux board lined up to step in.

I think Robins TV is actually pretty good.   Bearing in mind we are a football club not skysports.

Occasionaly I have had to watch a city game, via the opposition feed.  Which means you get the other teams commentators as well.

Compared to other teams, I think we are pretty good.

One match I watch (sorry cant remember the team) the commentators were clearly older ex players ... who had had a few liveners .. and were just chatting to each other ...putting the world to rights and taking the opportunity to settle various (decades old) scores with people at the club.   Was comedy gold

In fairness Benn shouldn't be fighting if he could be pregnant.

This is usually followed up by an adendum of which pubs/churches have closed recently   Or other remarks which through the validity of this claim into doubt.

Anyway, there is no shortage of pubs.

So, is this under the umbrella of Pula / Bristol Sport….or a cynic might suggest Jon’s new venture is taking money out of the club for his own company’s benefit.  Nice cushy number if so.  Be nice to get some transparency on this.  At least with the club sub-contracting certain elements to the likes of JMP, it’s a business-to-business relationship. To an outsider looking in, this looks all a bit too convenient!

Tried quite a few official (?) ones before, all were very slow

Just installed one and it is very good and has every channel, UK and Irish channels, all sports, movies and PPV stuff.  Plus Bristol City games.

So far has been perfect.
