I presume there may be even more midweek matches next season given the break for the World Cup
I am thinking the same, with the championship shutting down for a month when the world cup is on that must mean an extra 3-4 mid week games ,
Add the fact when it starts back up the first couple of rounds after the break could see a lot of cancellation due to clubs still having players in the knock out stages meaning rearranged games and if unlucky maybe an extra 6 mid week games next season,
As someone who can't get to mid week games due to work that will really push up the per match cost of the season ticket, it's making me think this time if a season ticket is the best option for me

I’m happy to swallow the extra tenner on ticket price, but it’s the inevitable food and drink increases that will make it a more expensive day out
Anyone who buys food and drink in the ground or fan village is mad when there is far better quality and cheeper stuff all around outside the ground so many good places to eat and drink that are a max of 5 mins walk away,

I'm expecting a 10% reduction in prices across the board.
Far more likely to be an increase, if we are lucky it will be frozen again, club has shown for a long time they are not that worried about fans finding the money to follow city sadly

Jon Lansdown calls it a ‘great journey so far’ with Hummel. I find it hard to believe that many fans give a damn about who makes our kit. Is anyone excited about this ‘news’?
I guess it depends if you where club gear out and about on a regular basis, I do and think that Hummel casual wear has been a massive important on anything the club has offered in a long time, hopefully see an expanded range this coming season,

One thing this season has taught me is we are going to get games like tonight when pretty much the whole team don't turn up but at least it don't seam to affect them in the next game, we really are the most inconsistent side I have ever seen, no point in getting mad with it now nothing going to change the rest of season , big job this summer though,

WBA and Bournemouth after the break. Might be a tad closer to the bottom 3 after those 2.
Maybe but I honestly don't see any of the teams in the bottom 3 at the moment ending the season on more points than us, we will pick up at least a couple more unexpected wins it's been how our season had been this year,

I agree. I also half expected some enterprising false merchandiser to be selling City/Shaktar Donetsk or England/Ukraine half and half scarves outside the stadium.
I think the simple fact is more people where fairly indifferent to it yesterday, I expect everyone think the war should stop and it's truly terrible what's going on but a lot go to the football to get away from the troubles of the world for a couple of hours,

We have been lucky this year it's a strange league due to the points deducted , we are pretty much safe now but unless something changes next season not sure we will find 3 clubs worse than us, big job this summer

I agree that some will have seen it and should report it (maybe some have reported it), but I was watching the game and didn’t see who threw the objects.
I reiterate that this is for the police/stewards/safety officer/club to use the cctv to identify the perpetrators.
I think the problem is that part of the standing section next to the dolman seams to have been taken over by teenagers who are trying to make a name for themselves no one really there to have a word, as someone who's was there a bit further around near the drum I can say that everyone around me was embarrassed as they keep doing these tinpot things,

Really good news, he's been excellent since his debut , like how he is improving with every game he plays, always good seeing one of our own make it
-
How many times we going to bottle it right at the end, really getting to me now, always seams to be one step forward two steps back

The train up from Bridgwater this morning is full and standing out of Weston not sure going to be easy for everyone to get on up the line towards Bristol, giving it a real big game feel already, just builds the excitement up
-
It's actually been quite an entertaining match to watch, if the Swindon goalkeeper hadn't had a bit of a nightmare for the 2 and 3 think Swindon could have got something out of this, that's s very good goal they just scored good pace in there side

There has just been a story on Westcountry TV about GWR bringing in a new timetable from tomorrow which involves a vastly reduced service due to covid absences among staff. It`s initially until February 3rd but will be constantly reviewed,
Don`t just assume your normal train is just going to turn up as usual!
It's the usual media hype had a look at the full revised timetable for next 7 days and very few trains cancel this weekend hardly any in Bristol area, a few more next week but again nothing that should really make any journey that difficult,

The Atkinson situation concerns me. The fact that he leaves him out in favour of Towler who has just come back from a loan spell in league 5 raises a number of questions!
I just get the feeling that we are not going to see much of him until he changed his views on vacation and gets the jab,

Thought we started well got our goal but then seamed to totally lose our way for 30mins, lots any tempo and energy we had, thankfully the changes at half time made a difference and we where the better side in the second half some better decision making in front of goal could have easily see us get 5 today over all the better side definitely won

Really happy to hear he's turned his live around was always a good player for us,
I was one of the many sure he was going to go on and be a star for England, I wonder if the lack of care we have him has stopped other prem clubs sending there young talent our way ,
-
One of the worst games I have seen him have for us everything he did went wrong , went MIA for the 3rd goal, didn't seam to have his head in the game, I really hope he's not in the next starting 11

Sky saying coins were thrown.
It wasn't coins it was 4 bottles, judging by who the stewards took out thrown by some young kids,

There actually not a lot between the sides today if we hadn't had are heads still in the dressing room for the first 10 mins after half time then a draw would have been fair, this inability to play for the full 90 minutes is really starting to get frustrating, it's going to keep costing us
-
Looking forward to this for once , I enjoyed watching the battling display at hull last week , I fell sure we are going to get something from today,

Yep Semenyo would be a great second striker if only we had a lethal finisher.
The ball actually sticks to him when it gets played forward. Don't think he will ever have the composure to be 20 a season as you say, but we simply have more of the ball in the opposing half when he plays, which will lead to more goals total .
He just needs to take more shots, time and again he gets into good positions but never seams to think about hitting it at goal , it's like he's looking for the perfect finish instead of just hitting it hard and seeing what happens, get the feeling he makes it complex for himself when got time to think ,

A funny game today, never side where very good, but we did have more chances even if our strikers seamed to be doing all they could not to shoot,
We where the better side in the second half and was a surprise when hull hit us with the quick break , but was good to see us keep fighting till the end this time,
We where not great but we had very good team spirit today and keeped going till the end , there is definitely some belief in the side now
