  1. It's got to be both as leaving one here will not fix any of the problems,

I voted Manning just because the idea of 6 more months of his boring football makes me feel ill I think I would have definitely stopped going regularly if he was here that long

Yes and games moved on police advice but we’ve had them for a while as we have Sky games, that’s why I suggested a limit.

This is a load of extra games that the club are getting money for which could tip some of us past the point of a Season ticket being worthwhile

That's the thing I am looking at with the prospect of up to 4 games next season begin on a Sunday which I am unlikely to be able to go to added to the mid week games I have never been able to do and the cost per game of my ticked for matches I can attend goes up a lot closer to a members rate ticket,

If the club offered to buy back tickets for matches you can't go and gave you £10 a match for it then everyone is happy I get something back and the club get something they can resell for profit and get someone in the ground buying stuff that equal more profit it's a win win a lot of other clubs do it

Bit over the top. He's 19, has played about 40 minutes in a terrible team. Didn't he look reasonably decent one of his sub appearances?

Players like Nicky Hunt were way worse! Leeds away will haunt me for the rest of my life.

He's no were near Hunt levels of bad I don't think we will ever see anyone get there thankfully,

But that doesn't take away the fact he looked miles out of his depth and that hes playing at a level that looks far to high for him,

January is when u sign players who can make an instant impact not ones who look like they need a couple of loans and 18 months to be ready , he's a panic buy that's gone very wrong and has just blocking a route from the 21s

Do you mean home and away as we won’t have 12 home Saturday matches on TV (given our midweek and bank hol matches will be on TV so will go towards our share)?

5 Championship fixtures every weekend will be moved for live coverage. If around 30 of our games are weekend fixtures and every side is chosen as often, it could be more like 12 or 13 games. If you're a more fashionable club or going for promotion then it's likely you won't see too many 3pm Saturday games so we got this going for us ,
So approx 8 home 3pm kick offs will be moving, half of them going to 12:30 on Sat and the other half a mix of 5:15 on Sat and some to Sunday, add to the proposal to move 4 to a Friday and we will not  be watching a lot of 3pm Saturday football next season , I think that well mean less people able to watch live

  5. This guy is easily in the top 5 all time worst players for city and if he keeps putting in the performance he is I think he could easily become top 3 worst ever 😂

Just amazed Manning thinks he's better then the kids in the 21s

I missed this reply previously, very interesting to read and certainly means those concerned that this new TV deal will cause lots of changes to what they can attend

Puts things into perspective that we're basically going to be no different

The new TV deal will make things very different I think to be honest,

Up to 12 game that would have been played at 3pm on a Saturday if we had the same TV deal we do this year will be moved next season

4 will be moved to Friday, 4 will be moved to 1230 Saturday and up to 4 will be moved to 1730 on a Saturday

So we could possibly only play at 3pm on a Saturday 5 times next season that's a massive change for a lot of people

  7. £40 increase for me plus a lots more games not at 3pm on a Saturday is making think about not renewing after having a season ticket for 23 years may become a member and just go the games that interest me and are at times I like watching football

  8. So Tinnion has basically said the club only wants to be mid table in the championship with his 10 points better off comments, they got no ambition to push for the prem , that makes me feel a little sad thinking that what we have now is as good as it's going to get, we are just going to become one of those nothing clubs that never dose anything of note don't go up don't go down just occupies a spot in the league they are in ,

  9. I am getting a bit sick of every interview he dose saying he did everything right but the players let him down by making mistakes, not following the plan, showing to much emotion

He really needs to start taking some ownership for the problems we are suffering from at the moment

  10. I am amazed at the amount of happy clappers in this thread happy with last night's result because we turned up and gave it a go,  it really does show what's wrong with the club as long as players are being congratulated for failing we are never going anywhere, we lost so what they did wasn't good enough, we really have become a cosy club that accepts failure

  11. So on summary, throws all the players under the bus as nothing was his fault, admits to being happy with a 0-0, comes over as not giving a dam about anything that happened,

Yep that really is a man who's going to inspire a team

The last time we finished in the top 10 was under lj , and before that gj  I know he made some bad decisions, but if we would have beat wolves at home that season, we would have got there???

But we didn't beat wolves and after that game he made a lot of really poor decisions that left us with a team in disarray looking more likely to be relegated than promoted by the end of Lee's time,

  13. Got to disagree with the OP, we are definitely not safe from relegation we are right in the mix to go down the way we are playing,

And sacking him now will be a loch cheeper that trying to run the club on the small amount of money sides get in league 1

  14. Fully expecting us to lose 3-0 today but really hoping the players show some passion and fight and prove me wrong,

Am worried thought after seeing Manning say he doesn't want to players to be emotional sounds like he's hoping for another boring game of pass back and sideways,

I just want to see us on the front foot really trying to win

  15. Watched the interview this morning and looks very much like he knows it's not working and is trying to distance himself from the problems at the club trying to protect his reputation as a bright young coach so he can get that next job,

He knows it's going badly and if it keeps heading the way it is he knows he's never going to get a chance at a club our side again so he's trying to set a narrative that he's being let down by players he didn't bring in so that when he dose get the sack he can say he did all he could but everything at the club was against him,

That really was an interview of a man who's just thinking about his next job and trying to make sure it's a good one,
