Twine has been playing out of position at Burnley and Hull. Both have played him out wide when he isn't a wide player. He's a Number 10, and would take up Knight's role. Knight would go back into his normal position in CM. He would be a valuable signing. Scores goals from long distance, dangerous from set pieces, and opening up defences with through balls. Much more suited to our system as a Number 10 than Knight is. I think Twine is better than those three players for starters

Yeah the camera view at AG is shocking. Not sure what they are thinking there. Needs to be lower and it would look 100x better.

Gonna do an Ian now.. AND MAY I ADD - Nigel's early performances were based on how poor we were for the last 3 months of Holden's reign and were not 'his' players. We improved immeasurably from the day NP took over until October 2023. Yes there were some poor performances which every Manager has had at City during their time, but they became much more infrequent as his reign went on. Everyone in 2021-22 knew there was a massive job in stabilising the club, balancing the books with FFP and making profit on our own players (which we did with Scott and Semenyo) and NP improved what we had (Vyner, Pring, Conway, Bell, O'Leary). So Ian take your pathetic agenda against Nigel Pearson and shove it Mr Superfan

Pearson was being criticised after 1 transfer window by the same person on this podcast. Ian just didn't like Pearson and that's fine, but just be consistent at least.

Our tactical setup is no good against compact team's. Simple as that. We're good at exploiting empty space. Basically we're good at counter attacking and have been for years.

I agree. Weimann is the type who plays on instinct and most of his goals came from this during 2021/22. When he had space to run into or to think he often made the wrong decision on most occasions. I don't know why he was never played up front more and I think at times could have done a better job than Conway the last few months up top on his own.

I am not surprised their fans are fed up with their style. The game at Deepdale last February was the most physical and ugly game we probably played last season and it was shocking Ched Evans/Greg Cunningham never got a red card in that match. Horrible side.
