Don't get me wrong, I like Christmas. I like it for having time off work myself, and spending some time with friends and family. People have lost what the true value of Christmas is by overspending and competing with others to buy the best gifts for their loved ones. It's sad and is slowly losing its meaning year on year.

I just miss the old grounds. Ninian Park, The Vetch Field, even the old Ashton Gate. It was Football, proper football. Feels more like going to the Cinema nowadays, very sanitised. I went to San Siro last month and really enjoyed myself. Every bit of its identity felt Italian and in particular Milanese, I am glad they decided not to knock it down. I just think the new stadiums are destroying what the previous grounds used to have.

People who post their whole lives over social media (particularly Instagram). Drivers who drive at the same speed absolutely everywhere. 30mph zone (Drives 40). National Speed limit area (Still drives 40). Fkn annoying. People who hog equipment at the Gym How Americanised Britain has slowly become, and how a lot of Premier League fans now treat Football like how Americans treat their NFL teams. Modern Football stadia. Any loser who posts daily statuses on LinkedIn. I love Dogs, but anyone who just allows their Dog to continuously bark and bark and bark. Rugby fans who instantly make snide comments about Football as soon as you say 'Im more of a Football guy'. Most of these people don't even know what Christmas is even about. Just brainwashed into consumerism and the greed that comes with it. It's sad.

I heard talk of the playoffs on the way out of AG Saturday and had to laugh to myself. This side aint nowhere near good enough based on performances i've seen, pre Nige and post Nige. You can't rely on winning games 1-0 every week, or by the odd goal every week. If we add a goalscorer in January then who knows, but for now this is about where we are and it is something Liam can try and build upon. Yes I was angry with the sacking, still am with BT and JL, but I'm not anti Liam or wanting him to fail either and I think if he slowly changes things over time his reign will work for the better. Just desperate to say 'I told you so' it will help him sleep better at night.

This side is suited better to being a counter attacking team. We do better against sides who prefer to have the lions share of possession. Hopefully Manning can see this and slowly evolve us in time to a more progressive, possession based side.

The truth is we beat Coventry and Sunderland because of how good we were at the back, along with some good goalkeeping on Saturday. Dickie has been very influential in these wins. Vyner was brilliant Saturday too. Everything else apart from that, pretty poor especially up front.

As I said, a carbon copy of that performance which Ian didn't like. Suddenly Saturday was clearly better and 'progressive'. The hypocrisy is nauseating.

Not only that, Ian posting on twitter about Saturday's game 'What's not to like?' Well it was a carbon copy of the 1-0 win vs Coventry under NP in October and he absolutely slated that very result/performance. I feel disappointed a bit since the NP sacking as this was my go to City podcast, but they are desperate for the 'I Told you NP was no good' line.
