  1. I wouldn't have wanted Taylor, but nor am I overly enthused about Manning being our head coach.
  2. Taylor is a good appointment for them.
  3. Exactly how I saw it. Didn't feel too much difference than how we would play under NP at home. Found it funny the likes of Ian Gay were now suddenly lapping it up this patient style of play. It was the same kind of performance we'd get under Nige.
  4. It has led me to dislike certain sections of our fanbase, which is taking the attention away from JL, BT and SL right now. Like I said and I agree totally with what @LondonBristoliansays regardless we want the team to do well, and even if we got promotion i'd disagree with how they dealt with NP for his entire time in charge.
  5. I do the same from Trowbridge. Leave later than I ever have this last year or 2, get there just in time for kickoff. Have to draw out finance for a pint and a snack pre-match
  6. Glad I am not listening. After the last month I am no longer interested in what BT, JL, SL and Robins Bristol City State TV have to say. It is all fart and no s*** as far as i'm concerned. No matter how they spin things or whatever they say their decisions over the last 5 years have left me with little hope we will be successful in the future and that isn't LM fault in any way and I genuinely wish him the best in luck as he'll need it.
  7. Getting tired of being told how to feel and think about my views towards the club. Yes - I don't agree with how things have been handled the last month. Yes I do also want the team to do well. Just little shots and digs everywhere from NP outers. Matt Withers is in bed with the decision makers and media team at the club, it's no longer a fan opinion but an employee opinion so it's club propaganda just like the nauseous constant tweets from the club.
  8. Someone said to me today best performance at home this season. Can't say I agree with that. It was defent because we got the win, but without performing much better than we have been used to. Look, we got the Win and that's great. We battled like we always have done, but this time managed to get the 3 points. Didn't feel like much had changed since NP left and therefore you cannot really judge LM much for today although I thought his subs were spot on. To go 2-0 up from a Worldie goal and a debatable penalty from where I was flattered us and was the kind of luck we haven't been getting the last 3 years or so. Conway doesn't look his best playing up front on his own. The whole reason we passed the ball a lot between the back line and midfield was due to a real lack of movement from the front line. We've missed Wells in this regard. Dickie, Knight and TGH still proving to be good signings. Can't believe the geezer sat behind me slags Dickie off the entire match which is very infuriating.

Well do you or dont you agree that Pring has gone backwards this season instead of nitpicking other people's posts?

You said I was classing Pring in the same ball park because he is no longer a young lad. I wasn't doing that, I was simply responding to the OP about Pring, Bell and Tanner which from my end had nothing to do with their ages.
  11. Deserves to start at Southampton. Conway is better playing with a partner up front.

Can you show me the part of my quote where I said Pring was a 'young lad'?

Bell has been below average this season. Tanner isn't confident enough on the ball, but aside from that pretty solid defensively. Pring has been ok. Nothing special, but set a high bar last season. I haven't been impressed with Conway's performances since Rotherham away either and I think Cornick is better suited to playing the lone striker role. Conway is better in a two.
  14. Not just a big lad is he. Good player, tidy with his feet. Loves a goal against us mind.
  15. Worst - County Ground, Swindon. Best - Liberty Stadium, Swansea. Great little set up and easy to get in and out. Also liked Fulham and Brentford's old Ground.
  16. We rarely get players like JET at AG. Someone who can do something out of nothing and would rifle a 25 yarder top corner when he wanted. I'd take that any day of the week over the likes of Liam Robinson and Matty Taylor just giving 100%.
  17. Clueless these fans. JET was brilliant in 2013-14 and it was criminal Baldock bagged more goals than he did. Baldock was the type of striker who needed 5 chances to bag 1.
  18. In another world we sign Roberts permanently and then sign Akinbiyi in the Summer as well. What a strike pairing that would have been. Daft decision to overlook Roberts.
  19. Gloucester delighted to have an away game at a local game for a change.
  20. Saw them in July at The Fleece. An entertaining evening. Pretty sure they played at The Cheese & Grain recently too.
  21. Don't care about either Welsh club, think the 'derbies' with both are actually among the worst in the UK. Our West Country derbies are better with Rovers and Swindon as there is a genuine two way dislike between the clubs. Just don't feel the derby with Cardiff is the same anymore since they moved from Ninian Park. Swansea has always been crap too. My unpopular opinion of the day done anyway.
  22. Try being at school with a load of them. ******* indeed. Obsessed with comparing themselves to us and being 'bigger'. In the 90s fair play to them they did well, but every average sized clubs have their moments. Their natural calling is and always has been League 1. Ever since they have thought they were big time. Absolutely loved that 3-0 humbling. Sit back down you Swindle gobs*****
