  1. Not the best of starts. Too many loose passes and giving Millwall too much space

    Messi

He's the best player ever, and people can throw all the stats about Ronaldo's goals records, but what separates Messi is goals like he scored last night which leave you speechless. I don't know how many times I've seen him score and have just said 'wow'. Harsh that, PSG were 1-0 up from early on and Man City had all the possession, it wasn't really the game for Messi/Neymar/Mbappe to impact. I thought Gueye in Midfield was excellent for PSG
  3. And people thought AJ would beat Tyson Fury.. No chance, the guy has been the most overhyped sportsman in this Country of recent times. Has underwhelmed me as far back when he beat Parker in 2018. Got out boxed last night

    Peterborough

    Bit disappointing, oh well

    Peterborough

Will we be in the away end behind the goal for this game or in the stand on the side for this game?
  6. I have a beard and I dont intend to shave it for anyone elses approval, sod the haters. I think you should have your own style and stick to it personally.
  7. Yeah I felt the same towards it, then these guys wonder why they never really made it in the top flight.. Going out and getting smashed every week isn't hilariously funny after a while

    FA Cup 2021-22

Bath City vs Frome Town - Interesting!!
  9. It wasn't the most complete of performances but a few standout performers for me - Bentley, Massengo, Kalas, Weimann and of course Wells. Loved the scenes for the Winner at the end. I don't think we were as bad as some are making out to be honest, certainly far better than the Luton match. QPR were always going to have lots of possession and chances but as an away side you have to ride your luck at times, and take your chances when they come, which we did

    Vyner

Just diagonals everywhere isn't it. Not even whipped balls in by Zak for the crosses, just diagonals. It's too wooden and League 1 standard at best
  11. Why does it work so well abroad then? Safe standing should also be added to the list really to aid it.
  12. Anfield's atmosphere is the most overrated thing in football. Only lively on Champions League nights.
  13. Bring back Tim Shires and Adam Baker, 2 casualties of the old corporate era we had
  14. Simple solution: Don't have a singing section, put some home fans in the Atyeo and divide it off. Don't play music until 2:45. Ignore what the stewards say. Atmosphere will build a bit more, make it more hostile for the away team, it feels too cosy for them I think. I always remember the old Ashton Gate with the tunnel in the Atyeo the away team players trudging to the tunnel before the game and there being a bit of stick given and boo's. We make it far too comfortable. Get Downsy off the mic as well shouting garbage for an hour before kick off. Allow drinking in the stands (Not a BCFC issue)
  15. I just personally think Douglas (unheard of) knocking out Tyson, the most feared sportsman on the planet at that point is a truly great underdog story. His Mother also died 3 weeks before the fight. It's personal choice I suppose
  16. Also the disrespect towards Mike Tyson - if you had seen him between 85 and 88 he was a true monster, most fighters beaten before they stepped into the ring. Douglas wasn't a big name at all and knocked Tyson out. Remarkable for me Exactly, nauseating for sure.
  17. Harsh on Denmark. They beat the favourites France, they beat the reigning champions Netherlands then beat the World Champions Germany. Greece beat Spain in the qualification, then the hosts twice, beat the European Champions and for me the team of that tournament Czech Republic, all this having not qualified for a major tournament since 1994 where they got battered, I'm sorry it is a better underdog story as is Leicester 15/16, for me, but this is brilliant for Emma Raducanu. Also other posters mentioning immigration and pointless political point scoring over a fabulous win is sad to see
  18. Greece 2004, Leicester 15/16, Goran Ivanisevic Wimbledon 2001, Denmark 1992, Lille in Ligue 1 last season if you understand their financial situation, Tyson vs Buster Douglas... Plenty of them imo and maybe a bit of Football orientated bias Footballing minnows Scotland drawing 0-0 with England at Wembley in June.
  19. How will they keep all 19 signings happy? Lets say there is a match day squad of 18. Some will be from last season in that squad and some positions would have been over recruited for i'm sure, i'm not sure how Paul Cook will be able to keep that squad happy? The current players who were there must be thinking 'the manager must not rate us then?' This will be terrible for the morale at Ipswich. Our 14/15 squad which won the league was if i recall a small tight knit squad of players who were brought in over a 2/3 year period to rebuild and get us back in the Championship. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.. A squad isn't built in one transfer window, Paul Cook won't be at Ipswich come Christmas that's for sure.
  20. For a club I had so much respect for (Ipswich Town) they now seem to be resembling delusions of grandeur that only Bristol Rovers and Swindon Town fans have. WE ARE DELIGHTED HE LEFT US
  21. After a rigorous process I come to realise this guy is a total narcissist. Poor Ipswich do not realise what this guy will do to the club. Paul Cook is going to need all the luck he can get. I despise Mark Ashton
  22. I hope Reading get relegated. What a total and utter farce
  23. The midfielder we haven't had for years
