Man Management is being taught out of young aspiring coaches today. It's probably 70% of the job, keeping the players confident and content. No confidence and low morale = Bad results. Ferguson was an monster man manager who was decent with tactics but relied on his high motivational skills to control a team in his image. A lot of these young and aspiring Managers these days like their clipboards and drones but can't motivate a thing

I'd go for Freddie Ladapo from Rotherham. He'd cause issues with his pace in our side.

I'll pretend to have sympathy for them

Only the Spanish clubs complaining, as usual.

I don't believe many in the current Parliament are much different - Left, Centre or Right they don't really have much care or interest on what the general public think so in that regard they are all the same.

It's just another way for the elites and the billionaires to divide the 'plebs' and make more money from it at the same time. Because who will really be effected by charges driving into Bath or Bristol? The workers. Who will really be effected by having to buy electric cars? The workers, those who can't afford it. When the media and journalists call for lockdown they don't have to worry in their nice big stately houses do they? Whilst us normies live in overcrowded areas with not much greenery around and in an overcrowded house or flat. Basically if you're rich none of these ideas or goals really effect you, it will always be the poor who suffer and it will always be those who speak out against the popular belief who are demonised.

It is rather funny that those who despise the Tories on here and despise Boris Johnson yet still go along with every restriction he puts in place and his 'opposition' support him in doing so. I don't believe a word any politician or scientist come out with anymore - they are all corrupted by power, personal agenda's and money in my opinion.

Fever Pitch - Leicester the only exception - F##k the Premier League!

I've watched the documentary as well as ITV having one on the last Division 1 1991/92 season. Sky Sports are as much to blame as the clubs who wanted the 'new' League. Such arrogance. There was times in the 90s the Italian game on a Sunday which was on Channel 4 had more viewers than the Sky Prem game because people could not afford to pay to view a game on Sky. -
Good result

Lovely guy, just aint good enough for this level is he
-
Hasn't played well for a couple of months to be honest, but he has big hair and its because others arent on 'his level' that he is not allowed to be criticised. Needs to step up
-
Would rather keep him if I'm honest. Won't get many better Centre backs where we currently are in the league or in the transfer market.
-
There have been some very critical opinions of him for a while now. Fact is, take him out the side we're MUCH worse than we currently already are.
-
You sound very pleasant and reasonable
-
Is there an opposite version of this? Scoring very late to win 1-0. If so I will raise City 1-0 Rovers 1991 - Louie Donowa

It's a Football game, bad language will be said and heard in the crowd. Don't watch it if it risks offending you, stop pandering to a massive minority of people.

Fortress Ashton Gate and who was Eddie Kavanagh?
2015 replied to headhunter's topic in Football Chat
Yeah totally agree, we try to play football, but the players aren't comfortable with it or good enough at this level to do so, so then they start lumping it. The answer is, you ship those players out and get better footballers in to play that way, not justify it and bring in League 1 and League 2 lumps who will encourage that way of playing. -

I like FBC. It has its faults, they love a moan (Like all City fans), it's not perfect but it's raw and passionate City fans. Not scripted and a bit rough around the edges which for me makes it an interesting listen. But I am sick of hearing about average players like Jamille Matt and Matt Smith. They are not the answer. -
I'd say it's pretty pointless. You're just getting 'What have Bristol City ever done?' type remarks, very petty

The funny thing is Ipswich fans think we're bitter and envious. We're not. We hated that bloke, he ruined the atmosphere around the club with his corporate mates and David Brent esque quotes. He was a toxic cancer on this club and delighted he has left us. I genuinely feel sorry for them, it's going to take City a few years to get rid of that atmosphere as I can still feel his awful stench lingers around our club. I feel sorry for Ipswich, I really do. Best of luck to them, they're going to need it.

He's actually a very good pundit on TalkSport before any of you get on your high horses, and yes I despised him when he was Crystal Palace chairman. He has matured a little.
